Like many other forumites, I'd love to see some additional character specific ones, but I guess it all depends on what was originally created by the art team.

i know there are some awesome pictures sitting on bioware's art servers for mass effect 2. what i think they are doing is getting the more dull ones out and then after that getting a new awesome one which will likely sell big (like normandy). I dont think these litho's will sell out right away. but when they release a new and awesome litho like normandy interest in these lithographs is renewed and people will be more inclined to buy the ones that are still left in the bioware store. simple marketing really.
i wont be getting these unless someone gifts them to me but i eagerly await the next one

Mass Effect settings always have been among my most favourite art - since the release of the Art of Mass Effect, that is. The other being creations by a deceased painter, by a very old but nevertheless brilliant artist, and by an artist that is most famous for his title logo works for a game series that is highly unpopular within these forums. Those three are more expensive to get your fingers on, so while ME lithos are released, I get them - all of them. So I do not have to pay large sums later to get my cold fingers onto some youth... ehm... early adult memories. ^.^ The images still hit my nerve and while some may be a bit too dark for salvation, I really like the execution. They don't look like digital art.

If this were the true art world, I'd be a fan of Monet, and you'd be a fan of Thomas Kincaid...neither one is "wrong", but my choice is better :-P

Then you are free as a pig in a meadow to say you love these lithos, if people don't feel the same way, that is their right.
Uuuh, someone's still is in very bad mood... listen, Charles, I never wanted someone to love these lithos, too, I only wanted people to not hate them, and not express their disatisfaction so negatively. To be more open-minded even if lithos show up that are not for them. If you would please allow me the same liberty, it would be great. So don't assume I denied them any right. And allow me please to be "a pig in a meadow".
edit: the post above your "pig" post is not directed at you, just so you know. It was created at the same time as your previous post, and submitted only minutes after it - because it took longer to write it.

That's my deceased painter. (according to Wiki Thomas Kincaid was the first golf instructor, so to say; the painter is called Kinkade. ^.^)

Yeah, the Shadow Broker's ship and Hagalaz pretty much made me rub my eyes and me question my sanity. Something as amazing as that view would be the centrepiece of a lesser game, but Bioware did it for DLC. I'd buy that lithograph a hundred times over.
Me too. I'd love a Shadow Broker's Ship/Hagalaz lithograph. The design of the ship and the planet's atmosphere was simply amazing.

Nobody is trashing the art or the decision. We are just saying that, while we like the art, we may have hoped for something else.

My question to you is would you like it released this month or next? We haven't had characters in a while. Thoughts on releasing two or three this month?
Thanks,

If you do three with this release, will there only be one in the next? Just trying to help people who might be on the fence understand the short and intermediate term impact on their wallets.

My only concern is that there might be too many lithos being released overall. Of course I'm all for more but you don't want to oversaturate the market. IMO stuff like pragia and purgatory don't need to come out. Maybe hold off on the less popular ones and focus on producing better quality more sought after lithos (more character ones, shadow broker ship, etc.). I mean look how fast Normandy sold out compared to Korlus/Collectors and it had 500 copies!
