These aren't trading cards, they're posters. If you're buying ones that you don't like, you can't blame BioWare for that.

I have just the one (Normandy), but I'd love to get a second one. Hope there's more really cool ones left in the pipeline...

They are posters actually...a lithograph print of a digitally constructed image. It's not "art" by it's strictest definition because it's mass produced. The image shown is art, but the litho itself is not...it's the equivalent of a print. The print itself might be worth some money, but it's NOT the original, and thus, not as valuable.

I have a poster of the Shepard and Miranda vs. the Praetorian and Collectors piece. If the litho ever becomes available, I'll happily trade the equivalent poster for it (it's bigger too!)

^^^Im a bit salty this morning, so please forgive me if my post seems blunt. I just have noticed more and more people beefing about things that really are arbitrary to the nature of the artwork. its the artwork and game world that drew is all in. Never lose sight of that. Stop worrying about resale value and numbers

it's the nature of the users here to beef and whine a lot... maybe most of us have tooo different tastes and natures and the only intersection/common area is either ME or DA:O (or even both if we get lucky) ^.^ (I am sorry for using 'we' but doing so means that I am part of the problem, too.)

what are you struggling to follow?  I was discussing my irritation to those who are doing more complaining that discussing.  I then posted a semi-explanation/semi-apology regarding the tone of my post.  Make sense?

Nobody is making a big deal out of it, some people just said they weren't all that excited with the new litho selections and some others were just wondering what happened to "last in quite a while."



And, in response to a post above, I am not blaming Bioware store for putting them out, I am just saying that I am personally struggling with whether or not o buy lithos I don't really like, just so I don't miss out.

Who is the mystery character? I gots to know. Would a bribe of some kind speed up the process of finding out the ID of the 3rd lithograph and a firmer release date for the trio? You name it, and I'll see what I can do.

The plan is to print the next three are being Tuesday. Once they are signed and on there way to us I'll announce the third lithograph along with a release date. The replacement Normandy lithographs will be with this group.

Thanks Jedi. So your going to start printing them next Tuesday, then they have to be signed and get through customs and all that yet, so that sounds like a 2 to 3 week process going by the other lithos, so an early October release seems a safe bet now, rather than the Mid September estimate from a couple weeks ago. Is that accurate?

and i expect these to be 500 runs so that would be 1500 litho's to sign

oh how some people must suffer for their art (i'd gladly do it myself though but i'm not nearly talanted enoegh to produce artwork worthy of lithographing (is that even a word ?))

Yeah...and if he gets a commision of (just a guess) 50c per signature, thats a nice little $750 bonus for an hours worth of work and a cramped hand...

Very true 50c seems a little low though i would expect at least a dollar per litho.
