In indoor levels I are provided a 64x64 gridnet, can I just place stuff outside of that one without problems?
Indoor level 64x64 only? (noob question)

Yes, you can. In fact, I would say it is easier to do things outside the grid

It's indeed easier, just wanted to know if the grid was some kind of limit. I still don't like the walls' bad snapping making holes in some of the corners.TimelordDC wrote...

You can turn off the grid if it's distracting. Tools > Options > Level Editor > Grid Display = False

i would suggest to turn off the snapping option too.

I find snapping good for placing the general walls. You will probably have to adjust, particularly with some tilesets for some reason. By the time you're putting in props, snapping is not necessary and can be frustrating.

imo with snapping you are producing generic rooms because you are using always the same wall lenght and so on. also it produces too perfect rectangular shapes which doesn't fit medievel architecture well. with free hand placing of the walls it will look more alive.

One other thing, is there a way to avoid that models jump to the ground (or to grid height) if I am moving it by the x and y axis?
Extremely annoying on indoor levels.
