That isn't the teammate select screen, I thought? I thought that was the character select where you pick gender / class.
...Don't tell me they mass effected it up to the point of a "party select" for quests too? Do we get a score breakdown after quest now too?
Swear every new piece of info I hear on DA2 makes me care less and less.
I'm confused. Dragon Age Origin has a party select screen as well? Plus the screen being discussed is, as Dave said, the character creation screen. We have no reason to believe the party select screen will look any different or crop up at different times at this point. Where you got a 'score breakdown' fear from all of this I have no idea.

Yeah because
traveling to an actual location and being able to walk around the camp,
converse with your companions, advance their personal story lines, go
and buy or sell equipment is totally the same as a generic menu where
you select party members for a mission. Yep totally the same! How could
I ever confuse the two? ../../../images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png
Eh? You essentially just described the Normandy from Mass Effect. Both the Normandy and the 'party camp' work in exactly the same way. Both have 'party select' screens when you leave them where you select your team, it was the same in KotOR as well.
Jade Empire did it differently as I remember, and from what I've heard DA2 will be more akin to BG in the way you interact with your party outside of adventuring than DAO. Take that with a pinch of salt though, the dev comment was quite unclear. They mostly said the Origins style of 'camp' wouldn't be returning (at least as we know it) and instead companions would be 'in the world' getting on with their lives until you select them for your party. I'm guessing a bunch will hang around Kirkwall for instance.
