This is for a brand new squadmate, not a return of an existing one.

For me it would be a female turian. I have no idea why Bioware havnt had female turians in the game yet. It makes sense with krogans and salarians, since 90% of salarians are male and krogan women stay on Tuchanka to try to breed. Female turians can fight as well since Garrus talks about one he knew.  Maybe she could be a biotic, havnt really seen biotic turians in the games yet either.

Is this concept art from Bioware or someone else? It looks really good, I hope female turians do look like that.

have garrus become a LI with  jack, and also have tali be a LI for legion.

I think Kal Reeger is almost a given for ME3 which will be awesome.

I know its probably out of the question but id like to see Saren as a squadmate. Bit of a stretch I know. Id also like to see a prothean maybe used one of those stasis pods on a remote world and had an uber power source.

Not sure if I want one as a squaddie, but if we don't get to see a prothean in a non-statue form before the end of ME3, I will complain about it loudly/IN ALL CAPS.
