Greetings and salutations to you, forumites! It's Monday, and you know what? IT SUCKS! So if you are having a crappy Monday, let me brighten it with my even CRAPPIER drawings and writing!
  This one I conjured up last night while listening to Reflections by Jack Wall from the Mass Effect 2 soundtrack! Over and over and over......

Totally OOC:     "Oh...." I said quietly as he approached,"...it' is you."  The hulking brute of a man, this qunari, stared at me with gentle black eyes, curious as to why my voice sounded as if I was displeased with his presence.
  "I am aware that you do not get along very well with the others in the camp," I said, turning away from him, "...and that you do not like it here in this land, different from your own..."  He crept closer, waiting for me to finish.
  "So I have come to a decision: you are free to leave whenever you like..." my wavered as I stared coldly into the night sky,"...We will all understand if you do." 
               I stared quietly at the ground, expecting no response from him. I then suddenly felt a soft, but firm hand place itself upon my shoulder, and slowly turn me around. The qunari gently pulled me towards him, and traced my jawline with smooth fingers. "Kadan...." he said quietly, moonlight glinting off of his ebony horns, "I swore an oath; to protect and serve you, just as you did when we met...I am not going anywhere."
 I found myself being pulled up to his face, cold marble like lips pressed firmly against my own, and his fingers twisting themselves in my hair. I could not find any willpower or reason to pull myself away...
Up in the sky: "Joker!" I said, staring outside the cockpitt window, "Where in God's name are we?!"
Joker shrugged casually, "I don't know, Commander; I think we might have it a time-warp or something--"
The sound of a guitar and a piano suddenly began playing, and a man with a hunchback and balding hair jumped out from behind me, and began to sing. "I REMEMBEUUUH DOIN' THE TIME WAAARP! DRINKING THOSE MOMENTS WHEEEEN---"
"Aw crap, it's him again!" I cried,slamming a hand on the comm button, "Jack! I thought you shoved this guy out an airlock!" Everyone began to dance in synchornized unison, thus begining the Rocky Horror Picture Effect.

Woo, that was long! This next pic is short and sweet. Lady Margaret Hawke is having some identity issues at the moment; please stand by...<_<

I usually play as a girl in DA, so I think I will play as a Lady Hawke in DA2.

The default Lady Hawke looks okay... But I will be modifying her face and hair some.

I'm not the hugest fan of the whole qunari love interest thing on account of reading about how qunari percieve relationships.

Lady Hawke looks so cool =) I actually just got the tickets to gamex in Stockholm November. Hope that I'll be able to get a good look at her then. The little you saw of her in that clip looks really really good.

I was really looking forward to creating my own custom Lady Hawke for DA2.   But when she looks that good as default why bother

I kinda imagine her as someone who is very tomboyish and a bit sarcastic and has an extreme sister complex
She maybe a lady, a champion, and a warrior, but she is a sister first.

I switched the blood smear into a scar, well hope yall like it *hides in the shadows*

I managed to play as rogue Lady Hawke today at Eurogamer Expo, and I must say it was really nice. Together with Bethany they make a good team. I'd like to try playing an apostate duo, but the mage origin was locked.



A lot of people played female Hawke, by the way, even guys.

Define "manly", as in a beard? I think they found a good balance between necessary femininity and the masculinity necessary due to her position.

my warden + some time + gimp = my interpretation of Mage Hawke without famous blood smear because she has enough blood on her already

Nicely done.    It is a shame this thread has died down so much, but then we're in a bit of an infodrought right now.

I never play female characters in these kinds of games, but i have to say femhawke looks well done. Have no idea why people are Sh**ing bricks over the "bad graphics", the character models far surpass DA:O. Just wish we had a higher res screenshot of Male Hawke.

There is unofficial gameplay footage of Lady Hawke on Youtube, but it's from the exaggerated demo.  I won’t post the link, but a you should be able to find it w/ a Google search of "Dragon Age 2 First Gameplay Video Female Warrior". Be warned, the demo, (that which BW uses to intise people to buy the game), "is not accurately representative of the game.”
