LOVE IT ! I love this one to Lilacs beautiful writing as always . I especially love the aggression shown by Miss Hawke .
Agreed - I love fictional-David's casual response to a knife at his throat from Lady Hawke. *chuckles* I could visualize it, and it was a kriss blade for me too - seems her style
<3
I notice your mention of the bathing scene again.

@shantisands, the dagger is her secret weapon to get close and personal with. Oh, the lead writer is too clever to boot and nothing escapes him (I would say the same for the lead designer, from what I observed/read through these forums, podcasts, and interviews; it is the same for the rest of the team (from what I gather through their writen words) as well.),
Thanks for your words

Thanks for your words, and I know you are just as interested and excited with Ms. Hawke's lore/story as I am. Is it March yet?
I have only just checked my calendar several times today, and yet still we have quite a ways to go.

same here, i will be days behind because it was a difference of over 12 dollars for regular shipping. I went the less costly route so everyone will be ahead of me too. I feel your pain.

Oh, no! I would hope so, too. I really hope it was an over the top estimation.

Never fear! Plan B involves renting the game while I wait if I start twitching lol (or buying it for my husband and playing on his computer while i wait. )

I think Bioware is afraid of giving the very young male (mainly console players) target they are seeking so desperately to hook up a "mixed idea" of the game, or that they will scare them away if they show a woman as Hawke...
Sadly, marketing guys always seem to view their targets like the dumbest people on earth. You see it all the time.
EA has recently released a promotional video for Dead Space 2: they gather a bunch of middle aged moms from "conservative middle America" and then show them some footage of the "gritty" and shocking details of the game. Apparently, all women look shocked and terrified (very understanding reaction). Then the trailer finishes with; "Dead Space 2; its everything you love in a game. Because Your Mom hates it "
I get (I guess...) that its a joke (the kind of sick joke some 12 year olds would appreciate) but I think its utterly childish... And if its not a joke, whats the point of marketing a game like that when its rated M (for mature)? There you have your marketing geniuses 101...
So much, this!

The parody aside, yes Lead Designer Mike Laidlaw did state that there are more goodies in store for next month; hence, I am hoping that more information about Lady Hawke is in that agenda. Optimism never hurts.
You are so right , i read a post i can`t remember who or where but they said 25 th was the date we would hear more of our Fem Hawke , i hope so .
But that was yesterday! What happened?

Really glad I didn't look up any marketing when the spouse first was talking about the game. Might have said "the **** is that" and never played it.
