I think they might have pulled or changed the URL for the Gamestop demo. The link is broken (and there isn't a different link listed on the code card). I hope it goes up again on the 11th! Otherwise we'll have to hope that Mike Laidlaw plays as FemHawke in the livechat/gameplay that day.

Shows lady hawke presets, but on youtube so you don't have to load the entire show.

Thanks for the youtube link, that's very helpful. I wish I could understand what he was saying, lol. Some of the presets are very pretty, but I notice that Hawke's family doesn't seem to really change that much with her changes. I know the hair stays black but I guess it's just the skin tone that changes.



I'm still debating about whether I'll use default Hawke or create my own Hawke.

Default for me too, but I will probably use the CC on subsequent playthroughs. For me the defaults are "Garrett" and "Marian" much like the default Shepards are "John" and "Jane", so my initial runs with both will probably be with default names and appearances, and after that I will start mixing it up.

There is a posted pic in the Carver thread with a custom M!Hawke, which if you look closely has Carver and Beth with different features (not immediately obvious, but Carver, for example, seems to have a longer face and hair and straighter nose).

I'm undecided. I think I will play around with the CC and see if I can create a custom face to my liking. Usually it takes me 2-3 characters before I settle on a look.

Its not the greatest name, but I kinda like it - for Fem!Hawke that is. It sounds medieval to me (probably from the Robin Hood connection).

You're not. Default names for protagonists aren't usually the best in BioWare games, but I don't really mind since it is never brought up in-game.
