I agree! I love red hair...I think I like default FHawke better but it'll be a tough choice

I both hate and love when inspiration strikes. There's just not enough femHawke art out there, so I can contribute a shoddy piece to the collection. I think I spent too long on the upper body compared to the rest of it.



I rather like Marian as a name, but I might just go with Astrid instead.

In terms of Hawke's appearance I'm 50-50 on custom vs. default. I've somewhat grown accustomed to the default face - which isn't a bad face BTW; but there might be some nice custom templates to work with.



The voice in today's video fit the face quite well IMO. Sounds like she looks.

As I was replaying the Lady Hawke voice parts of today's live stream, something crossed my mind. I think our lady Hawke may be voiced by Kath Soucie. She isn't British, but she was both in Origins (Awakening included) and Mass Effect, but she's mostly known to the old timers, for having voiced Aerie in Baldur's Gate 2. There was something about her crystal clear voice, disney princess undertones and the way she said "help" that brought me back to Aerie. I am not sure, but I think this could be it, guys.

EDIT: Also, she isn't on the list! Time to edit

I loved that red-haired preset the best out of all of them. They're all good from what I saw, but I am SO going to start from that one. I'll use the default at some point, though, because it's fabulous, too.

And we are so lucky to have an awesome voice actress like whoever she is (somebody reveal this so the crazy guesses can stop, please!) Oh, I can't wait to play this game...Lady Hawke is too epic.

I was so thrilled that Laidlaw used Lady Hawke for the live chat. What was really nice was how there was overwhelming support to see her in action. Even though the chat room was just insane, there were definitely people cheering her on when the video started. All the preset faces look great. I have not really seen any "OMGTHATFUGLY" comments. Just "oohs" as the customization possibilities roll in. And then there's feminine movements instead of sharing the male animations.

Yeah. I give all of Bioware HUGE props for going against the grain and playing Lady Hawke for the sample play through. It was refreshing, nice, and I felt warm and happy that she was acknowledged in the game. The more publicity she has, the more likely lady gamers will turn their heads and go 'Wait.... DA2 is customizable? I can be a chick?! And she's freaking CUTE?! Not running around in underwear?! Gimme some of that chicken..."

Not the biggest fan of it, luckily you can change it

After hearing her, she really strikes me as not a Marian, she's an Alice to my ears.... or rather, since this is a fantasy RPG, an Alyss

Her voice fits her looks almost perfectly, though she's a teensy bit little-girly sounding to me, though that might be an artifact of the secondhand audio the live chat had, something slightly deeper and richer would have been minutely nicer (only minutely, she sounds pretty  much perfect)

That's who I thought off immediately when I heard Lady Hawke! It's the sultry human female that she reminded me off the most. I realize she's not British, but she did do a convincingly British accent in DA:O for both the sultry human female and Allison, the girl you can do the trap quest for in Lothering.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking it's her! And now that I recall, although it's uncredited, I think she might also have done lots of female player voicework for Neverwinter Nights: I can swear she was the voice of my every NWN character, EVURH~<3

I liked the gestures i saw yesterday on the demo video. I could not get over how beautiful she is.. I love the way Morrigan looks on the "Urn" trailer but Lady has her beat XD
