Re-posting this here from the Sisterhood group: (incidentally yes guys are very welcome seeing as I've been posting there since the start!)
Really rough first list here. I went through the entire cast list for DAO as it is on IMDB, then I checked each voice artists profile to see their role in ME (if any). My personal favourite by a HUGE distance is Belinda Cornish, I state many of the reasons below, frankly I'll be amazed if it isn't her. I added Cauthrien's VA because I'd love it to be her heh.
- Jocelyn Ahlf - Canada, Mithra (DA) Add voices (me)
- April Banigan - Canada (?) Khalisah Al-Jilani (ME) Kitty/Devara (DA)
- Shannon Blanchet - Canada, Captain Enyala (ME) Liselle (DA)
- Wendy Braun - USA, 40, Gianna Parasini (ME), Felsi (DA)
- Kimberly Brooks - USA, Ashley (ME) Lanaya (DA)
- *Belinda Cornish* - UK, young enough, Rana Thanoptis (ME) Goldanna/The Baroness (DA), Apparently married to Mark Meer? (Per IMDB) Founding member of theatre company in Canada. Born and raised in London.
- Kim Mai Guest - USA, 41, Wise Dwarf (DA) Maeko Matsuo (ME)
- Erin Matthews - USA, 37, Merill (DA) Lizbeth (ME)
- April Stewart - USA, 42, Wise Elf (DA) Nelyna (ME)
- Cree Summer - USA, 41, Macha Doyle (ME) Violent Elf (DA)
- Courtenay Taylor - USA, 41, Jack (ME2) Farinden/Shaevra (DA)
- Audrey Wasilewski - USA, 43, Kate Bowman (ME) Nesiara (DA)
- Alix Wilton Regan - UK, 23, Not in ME, Mhari, Cauthrien
Edit: Formatting, some mistakes. I've listed ages where I can as some people might favour a younger VA for Hawke etc. A few names got left off the list due to being too old (in my opinion).

Just one question though; why did you bold my name? I have to ask.

Thanks for the info, Apollo Starfire! I'll add that to the OP.

No worries! Oh I just do that sometimes to make someone's name stand out if I'm not quoting them etc. A habit I got used to on other boards really.
Edit: It's true, William's name should be added too! I guess my bullet points just stood out more.

Another good possibility would be Courtaney Taylor, that woman has range and she can do accents. Just look at Juhani. Although, Gaider said she was in a minor role in Mass Effect, and I'm not sure if Jack counts as minor.

Just popping in to see if there's any new screenshots of Lady Hawke. I was hoping for some better quality up-close shots, but there doesn't seem to be any yet. Ah, well. Maybe after I get home from work.
I have some new ones, but my Photobucket account is over capacity.

Hmm, Shannon Blanchet to me seems like a likely candidate. Her Captain Enyala voice combined with a British accent would seem very Morrigan-esque. And that is what I've heard Lady Hawke's voice described as.

IIRC he said she had a small role in DA and when asked if she was in Mass Effect "Yes. Yes she was in Mass Effect".

Possible Lady Hawke VA;
Kim Mai Guest
Courtenay Taylor
Erin Matthews
Wendy Braun
Kimberly Brooks
April Banigan
April Stewart
Audrey Wasilewski
Belinda Cornish
Jan Alexandra Smith
Grey Delisle was not in Dragon Age (or at least she isn't credited) so that rules her out sadly.
Just took the time to go over your list and with all we know right now the most likely candidate seems to be Belinda Cornish since she (is apparently the only one on that list - correct me if I am wrong here - who) was born and raised in England and should have no problem with doing the accent that seems to be required for a Hawke.

According to a new thread default LadyHawke has brown hair and blue eyes. Why the eye color change from MaleHawke (brown) to LadyHawke (blue)? The brown/brown combo is surprisingly marginalized in fiction/media, especially in main characters and especially if they're female. But I suppose blue is "prettier" and "more feminine"? As a brown/brown girl, I'm trying to fight off my <_<-face at that theory.
I definitely intend to put brown eyes on my Lady Hawke.

I wasn't. It let me act all defiant just like I was hoping for.

@Riona45 Blue is not prettier or something like that. But often the brown/brown combo has a "deer in headlight" effect on modellike faces. Thats not necessarily bad, but i can imagine it doesnt look as fierce as blue eyes would look on her.
I myself have no set preferences, i think it depends very very much on the other facial features n stuff.
Ah ye, i will release some fanart of Ladyhawk tomorrow, dont expect something superfancy, but i think the "smaller-boobs-plx" croud will aprove. And no, plx DONT bring that Topic up here now too. ~.~

Yeah I liked the idea of brown eyes on her. I'll probably do that if I play with her default face.
They said they're releasing a screenshot "in the next little while". Could that BE any more vague? Argh.

Hardly, but at least, we won't have to wait until a few weeks before game release.
