Re-posting this here from the Sisterhood group: (incidentally yes guys are very welcome seeing as I've been posting there since the start!)

Really rough first list here. I went through the entire cast list for DAO as it is on IMDB, then I checked each voice artists profile to see their role in ME (if any). My personal favourite by a HUGE distance is Belinda Cornish, I state many of the reasons below, frankly I'll be amazed if it isn't her. I added Cauthrien's VA because I'd love it to be her heh.

This is all based around the assumption that they will aim to get a British VA of course, I've added non-Brits (and in fact that is most of them) as well because if an experienced VA from the States/Canada can do a decent accent I would imagine Bioware would hire them. Personally I doubt it as said accent will have to cover a range of emotions and such but who knows. Obviously I'm also working off David Gaider's hint that the VA had a minor role in Origins and a role of somesort in one of the ME games.

Edit: Formatting, some mistakes. I've listed ages where I can as some people might favour a younger VA for Hawke etc. A few names got left off the list due to being too old (in my opinion).

No worries! Oh I just do that sometimes to make someone's name stand out if I'm not quoting them etc. A habit I got used to on other boards really. :happy:

Edit: It's true, William's name should be added too! I guess my bullet points just stood out more.

Just popping in to see if there's any new screenshots of Lady Hawke. I was hoping for some better quality up-close shots, but there doesn't seem to be any yet. Ah, well. Maybe after I get home from work.

Hmm, Shannon Blanchet to me seems like a likely candidate. Her Captain Enyala voice combined with a British accent would seem very Morrigan-esque. And that is what I've heard Lady Hawke's voice described as.

Another good possibility would be Courtaney Taylor, that woman has range and she can do accents. Just look at Juhani. Although, Gaider said she was in a minor role in Mass Effect, and I'm not sure if Jack counts as minor.

IIRC he said she had a small role in DA and when asked if she was in Mass Effect "Yes. Yes she was in Mass Effect".

I tried to find out if the VA was actually British but no amount of asking got the question answered unfortunately. Can't remember Enyalya well enough but I doubt it's Courtenay Taylor, just can't picture Jack's voice (even a variation of it) as Lady Hawke. Just my opinion, I think I'll stick with Belinda Cornish like Calla sticks with Bramhill.

Just zooming in to say i support Lady Hawk too!



@Riona45 Blue is not prettier or something like that. But often the brown/brown combo has a "deer in headlight" effect on modellike faces. Thats not necessarily bad, but i can imagine it doesnt look as fierce as blue eyes would look on her.

I myself have no set preferences, i think it depends very very much on the other facial features n stuff.



Ah ye, i will release some fanart of Ladyhawk tomorrow, dont expect something superfancy, but i think the "smaller-boobs-plx" croud will aprove. And no, plx DONT bring that Topic up here now too. ~.~

Yeah I liked the idea of brown eyes on her. I'll probably do that if I play with her default face.
