I would love to have Lady Hawke used in the advertisements and it is unfair that they don't use her.Either way, I don't see a problem with us wanting to voice our opinions on it. If you have a problem with that why are you here in a Lady Hawke fan thread?

Ditto.....I'll say it again.  Bioware took the easy road by featuring Garrett Hawke first and putting him in the trailer.  A little progress would be nice by DA3.

I agree.

So, it just means they're big? Can't say I'm surprised.

I can honestly say I wouldn't care. If ladyhawke looked and sounded good, I would trust male hawke would as well. And I wouldn't care anymore about his voice then I do now.

And as for the default look... please... I would never play the default look.

Personally I have no prob with people discussing her or being very curious about her. I just have a problem with people whining about not having any info or especially about how it's so terribly unfair and offensive she isn't used for advertisement,

Lol... way to read the full post before responding. Threads like this = sensible. Thats why I literally said "Personally I have no prob with people discussing her or being very curious about her."

I have a problem with threads that revolve around "omg so unfair only male hawke is in advertisment." Which this thread is not.

Zombie asked a question. I answered.

I did read the post and I posted my opinion. I swear, if you have a problem with those threads don't post in them, its simple as that. Oh, and I have a problem with people who complain about 'whining'. I mean isn't that a form of 'whining'?

And why shouldn't he post here in the first place?

This guy actually presents some arguments(alas, a bit weak arguments) and voices his opinion on it, unlike some others who just come here and blurt out some trollish one-line response such as "No, femhawke sax" .

You people should realize that not everyone who doesn't think like you is automaticly an FemaleRolePlayer hater and should get out of your world.
I would also like to see some advertisement of the Lady too, just like in DA:O trailers where we had both males and females, but your bitter, nagging and defensive behaviour won't make it any better.

We got the Lady Hawke screenshot promised after all.

/inb4 I get painted as a GTFO-hater.

I don't care if posts in those threads or not. It goes both ways. If he whines about whiners isn't he doing what he whines about? And your bitter, nagged, and defensive behavior doesn't make it any better either.

Two quick points

1. For the record, if being able to play female was removed (aka elves and dwarves), I would be upset as well, as female gamers would be getting f*ed over pretty bad. That wouldn't be cool! I just don't get this importance people place on the "poster boy/default" Hawkes... male and female btw. Like I said before, if the hawke in the trailer was female I wouldn't be going nuts over not having any male hawke info.

2. To me a whiner is someone that brings nothing sensible to the table and is more of a troll then anything else. The person who will post in twelve female hawke threads "bioware is sexist give me femhawke pictures or I won't buy the game!"

Once agian, Zombie asked a simple question, I gave a simple answer, then you turned this into something else because I guess you didn't like my answer.

here's an idea for a trailer i came up with while trying to implement both genders into it but in way that would make sense to the viewer.

come see and discuss on it, feedback is largely appreciated :D

I fully understand why bioware has only one hawke and wants to keep him the "face". Makes sense from a marketing standpoint.

But I gotta say, this is a damn good idea.

i tried to keep hawke a mystery so being told of hawke is better than being shown hawke in this case

Ahem, according to my dictionary: Whining = A repeated and peevish complaint uttered in a plaintive tone.

Doesn't sound like Wishpig's post to me, that's what I wanted to say.

Anywas, for the sake of keeping ye olde' thread clean and safe, I suggest to bring this argument to our PMs.

Obviously I must be an idiot because my point was if you're complaining you're using a plaintive tone. That's sorta the way complaining works.
