So what do you think their reason was?

They don't listen to people like you despite your religious believes about bioware.

Try again.

Saibh wrote...
Oh, and I notice you didn't bother to provide a citation, my friend.

For what purpose when it was written all over the ME forums which is subseuently buried in hundreds of pages? Do the homework yourself, you made the claim that they listened to their fans, its your responsibility to check up the correct sources and ensure what you say is right.

Its not my duty.

In defence of the thread starter, the proportions are possible in real life even without artificial enhancement.

Do I believe that's why the breasts are on the largish side? No.

I would say it had more to do with the very important question that gets asked in the development process. "Is she doable?" *rollseyes*

Personally I'd prefer to be able to make a character that looked more like the female qunari body type as seen in the concept art.

Don't hurt me in your crusade.

It's not a crusade. It's an Exalted March! All non-Alistair loving heathens shall perish in our righteous wake! Mwhahahahaha.

*cough* Theoretically speaking of course.

Right. Despite placing several s/s files in the game BioWare obviously didn't intend to ever place in a gay romance options. Really. Genius there.

Okay, notice how this guy inserts himself into a conversation he cares little about and still clearly cares little about it?

Wow, still at this Saibh? What conversation was i "Caring" about? The one about Male Hawkes Macho body or was it about lady hawkes boobs which i summed up in ONE post?

Ill tell you since you're too hot headed to think clearly, its the former.

Saibh wrote...
Because he doesn't quote someone's post and provide detailed explanations on how wrong they are.

About Male Hawkes buffness, not the boobs which you keep relentlessly implying.

Saibh wrote...
Yeah. That's "not caring", forum edition. Not what you're doing, SirLordExarKun.

Not caring in one thing but caring about another.

I realise I'm making the cardinal mistake of not reading the whole thread before typing a response, but here goes anyway:

@OP, I'm glad you're pleased, but I'm afraid I disagree. I actually think all BioWare's previous heroines have had sufficient-sized boobs, so I don't really understand the whole "two large lumps on their chest" argument. I still think Bethany's figure on a warrior or a rogue doesn't make any sense.

The thing that really bothers me about the discussions on the forums concerning this issue is that apparently most people who want to keep the big boobs think that they make the women hawter and that's enough of a reason to have all the women in DA2 have such figures. This is indicative of an underlying attitude implying that physical attractiveness is the most important feature of a woman, which I fundamentally disagree with. It's very difficult for me to take a woman sporting Bethany's figure seriously as a warrior. But then again, it seems like that's not the point to begin with. The point seems to be that her physical proportions are there primarily to please the eye and not to make her a believable action protagonist. And this is where it becomes problematic.

Don't get me wrong: I want my PC to look good, too. However, I want her to look good and still be a believable action heroine, because that's what she's supposed to be. And those boobs just make it impossible.

Nooo don't do that!

I may have been too late to warn you.

The current state of this thread is "I just want to stand by my opinion without seriously considering what you have to say." Last time I tried to explore the reason BioWare went for watermelons, I ended up reading replies to my post asking all manner of irrelevant questions. Hell, someone even came up and said something about a porn mod which didn't make much sense to me. I don't suppose the ****storm has passed.

Everybody is insane, there is no such thing as sanity. People who think they are sane are just too insane to realize it.

Well obviously something was going through BioWare's mind when they decided to go big and bold there so they can't get to irrelevant (Then again, this is the BioWare forums). Would have loved to have been at that conversation though.

^_^ I think I'm just happier with the fact that they're not all cone-shaped and weird like in DAO, and while I most certainly DO understand the reasons why quite a few people want Lady Hawke to have smaller breasts, I'm fine with how they are. I'm a large-chested gal and, no matter how improabable it is for a true action hero to have those same proportions, my narcissim makes me happy to have a similarly well endowed character who's NOT going to be flitting about in some streetwalker garb!

However those who welcome their insanity will revel in the joys of madness for which those grounded in reality simply could not comprehend.

lol  Yeah, I was in a conversation about a boob slider, then the topic switched to bulge slider.  The thread kind of went down hill from there.

If Bioware wanted to make some eye candy they totally could have given FemShep in ME 2 massive boobs and justified it by having Miranda say that Cerberus made some upgrades. Plus it would still be realistic because all the weapons are guns or biotic. Yet they made DA 2 into Conan: The Barbarian
