Normally breast size wouldn't even be a problem but it's the implications.

I want FemHawke to be a respectable video game character the kind you could look up to in real life and not some cheap male fantasy like Lara Croft was eventually turned into

More Jade from Beyond Good & Evil or Faith from Mirror's Edge. Even Samus

I propose everyone let Bioware design the characters as they see fit.

Strange how people only try to argue this when they themselves are happy with the design...

It's what comes with not getting the shaft. You're so content you decide the best course of action is to act superior and above everything.

MASSIVE armor, MASSIVE pauldrons (these are particularly silly), MASSIVE bows, and now, apparently, MASSIVE breasts.  Oi.  This is one of those entirely unwinnable debates, so I won't even get into the unfortunate socio-political implications this topic presents.  I just hope a dev somewhere reads this: Please give us realism next time.  I realize that this is fantasy, but the immersion factor is somewhat diminished by the amount of narms this game seems to have in its designs.

It's not the size, it's the word.

Romance Alistair so he can gain Massive Constitution.

Be careful flanking an ogre because he can deal Massive Damage.

Almost obsessive.

Seriously everybody, they are just boobs. Out of all the things being complained about, is this anywhere near important?

I think BW is purposely making them boobs to encourage forum activity :P After all, this topic has been around before DA:O launching.

And yes!! boobs are IMPORTANT!

There is a similar debate going on at The Witcher forums about Geralt's face. Finally, someone posted that if anyone knows the right face for Geralt, it's the artists at CD Projekt and not the armchair designers at home. I agree with this sentiment.

I also think when we get some more pics of the characters in DA, this debate will go away.

And yes, I happen to think Bioware has improved the look of characters tremendously.

I know how you feel. I had all sorts of ideas for femHawke and now I've realized if she does go mainstream it'll be as 13 year old 'alone time' inspiration.

It pisses me off.

You know if you are giving us eye candy. Then don't cover it all up during the romance scenes

I believe this is all traceable to a size complex that Bioware has.

I wonder how many people said the same thing about Star Wars.

Is it wrong that this made me laugh very, very hard?  Oh, Alistair...

Yes, that word gets thrown around quite a bit.  I wonder what Freud would have to say on the subject.

Edit:

Nah, I wasn't quite the innocent boy when I gave that example.

Exactly. The team behind Dragon Age create the universe, the characters, and the like. They can do whatever they want with them, and frankly I would prefer they stay true to themselves and their artistic endeavors.

If Bioware wants to be truly tasteful then they will give FemHawke some goddamn muscle, a well toned body and reduce the breast size.
