NO ADAM'S APPLE.
Not all men have a prominent adam's apple, although male Hawke should have a big one for equality, that's something I have never considered before, is there anything attractive about a prominent adam's apple?
A different kind of boob rant

If I didn't know better, I'd say this is a woman. But since there is no discernable boobage on display, I must obviously be wrong.
That person could pass for either a male or female.
How about in this picture?
Again using actors really make it bias.
Really not the best example...
How does it make it bias? Because you know who they are? You should be able to determine whether you can tell if they look female from looking at it whether you know who they are or not. And besides actors how many people are going to be wearing armour? Maybe some people at medieval fairs or something, but it's not like just anyone is going to be wearing armour.

Exaggerated muscle tone reflects supreme strength. The trait of the warrior in games like this. ( righlty or wrongly, the muscle on display still equates to the intent, ie 'this character is strong' ).
What exactly do exaggerated breasts reflect ?
Are ridicuosly large breasts reflective of strength for the female warrior, of spell power for the female mage..?
I doubt it.

And for those less bright folk who have attempted to justify the status quo when it comes to hefty mammaries, by equating it to males in game being portrayed as bulging beefcake, here's the thing. Its just not a justifiable comparison.

Actually the one character where I think it might actually make practical sense for them to accentuate their features - wasn't one who actually did it: Leliana.
A bard or any female character who used seduction as one of the many tools in their arsenal to get close enough to a target to kill or spy on them - would benefit from being absurdly hot, would they not? Even then I wouldn't classify it as "required" or indicative of their potential. Plenty of hot, seductive girls who don't have a huge chest.
/thinks the ME1 body models and armor were a good balance between sexualized and realistic, btw

There's a lot of unrealistic features in many games with both character models and armour.
IF they go without boob armor and what not women will complain they are playing are forced to play as a man.
Breasts are required to be seen as to notify a female player they are indeed playing a female.
And guess what? As a woman who hates the massive honkers female avatars usually have, I am forced to play as a man. I find it easier to relate to relate to the male avatars in ME and DA:O. Certainly, I have played the female side in order to see the more appealing female-only content (eg Garrus romance) but only if I can strap my character into massive armour that covers her bodyshape as much as possible. (And don't get me started on the high-pitched screechy voicesets the human females have in Origins. Gah).
Sorry your the inority.
Not my point. Point was, if they could give us a more athletic female, rather than a twig-armed, big busted, shrill-voiced monstrosity, I'd be much happier playing my own gender. Ah, life was so much simpler in the 90s when characters were ten pixels tall and you had to imagine how they looked. That way, they could be anything you wanted them to be. Nice graphics are a double edged sword.

I doubt they are going to say anything about this. Because if they did, someone will get angry. And we haven't quite seen anyone being truly angry yet.
