There's high fantasy and there is dark fantasy. Dragon Age is the latter so it should NOT be too fanservicey.

(hammer throw - Anita Włodarczyk)

(tennis - Serena Williams)
Anyway whatever the designers do, it won't appeal to all. I can still remember a lot of NWN2 threads complaining about the looks of women in the game - that they would rather they looked beautiful as opposed to more "natural"...

I will honestly think of Bioware as a bunch of pre teen boys unless we are TOTALLY wrong on the whole female body thing and FemHawke has correct body proportions.

So far we ahve little to no info.
They have also included a companion with a muscular body trying to branch out of the generic one body model type...yet we still get this with a game that still has half a year left.

Really, they have? I mean it seems like I'm out to get you, but I'm genuinely interested in knowing about this.

Kind of sad. Don't you have anything etter to do then rant about how the breasts are too big? You should be drawn to the characters in the game by their personality, or if they're the Player character, how you potray them as, not their bra cup size...

1. Hawke's mom? Yeah, she's got huge boobs too. HOWEVER, they are not hanging down by her waist or swinging between her knees, as would be appropriate for a woman that age with size J's.
2. They widened Bethany's hips. That's great! For breasts her size, that makes sense. However, the ribcage and shoulder proportions are still too small for said breasts. As long as Bethany is complaining about constant back problems, it'll be fine.
3. I would not be against Hawke having proportionally sized genitals. However, as one previous poster said, the armor should reflect that and we should see tripod-armor. No worries!
(/tongue-in-cheek)
Hey, it's fantasy. It's unrealistic proportions for men and women. I would love to see a more athletic build if you're warrior class, a slender build for rogue, and softer/rounder overall for mage. And that goes for both men and women. However, we are dealing with disk space and model rendering code. If having a singular body type and unrealistic "ideal" (and I DO use the term loosely, as I'm not a huge fan of a muscle-bound man IRL) is the price we pay to get more dialogue, an extra quest, and/or maybe an extra companion, I'll gladly pay that price and look at unrealistic eye-candy.

That's all good for the hardcore Dragon Age fans but the newer fans may get the wrong impression and be all, "HEY YOU GOTTA PLAY THIS GAME! IT'S GOT HOT CHICKS IN IT!" Appealing to the lowest common denominator and all that. Again, it's like if LOTR had a bunch of busty women on screen at all times. Cheapens the whole thing.

There is the internet.
THe only person who would go and buy a game because of that is a desperate young minor.
I must ask...someone buying the game ebcause it has a hot chick in it...how does it cheapen it?
How does it cheapen your game?

Why are big breasts bad in a fantasy game?
Do not make any assumptions on the reasons or who theya re targeting.
As they will not confirm any of it.

Because they are the easiest to appeal to and Bioware will be inclined to make more Fanservice due to the increase in sales. Something similar happened to Halo. Started off as a fantastic science fiction tale but ended up as a multiplayer ****** fest with a ****ty story because Bungie realized there was no point in single player anymore

The top is Bethany and the bottom is the warrior woman AvelineBethany is a mage so it doesn't matter but I feel that if she starts swinging a sword around her breasts will smack into her face. Compare Aveline who has modest boobage yet is still hot
Bethany doesn't seem that hot because when I look below the neck I think, "Damn woman! Do you use magic to keep them supported? Doesn't your back hurt?"
