I do not aspire to have a ripped body...
I aspire to not become obese ever in my life....thats about it...
Would I be fine with a ripped body? if I did not work sure.
Would women be fine with big breasts that did not cause any problems? sure they would.

Are you speaking both as a man and a woman?
The first and the last sentence are kind of odd.

Pay close attention to the wording...
The first sentence uses i and the last one uses women....

Yes. Of course it is.

Seeing a man buffed and oiled up makes me think that must be for the enojyment for some women out there.
I will disagree with how you think now.

The problem is that FemHawke doesn't even seem to have well defined muscle. She's like a waif

She's Princess Peach instead of Princess Kick-Your-Ass (That Gears of War chick whose pic was posted)

But we need better pictures

You can't really say what women would like and wouldn't.

Why is this issue so hard for some people to comprehend?

Some people don't want their PC to have massive EE sized breasts with a tiny waist like Bethany because they seem impracticle and fanservicy, instead they'd rather they have medium sized boobs with a muscular/toned figure.

Where did the oil come from? What are you a homophobe? Yes there are women who would like nothing better than to cover MaleHawke in Nutella and do unmentionable things with him but the ripped male is a fantasy for guys in terms of say... Muscle Envy

Not hard to comprehend.
Just WHY are they making big breasts sound so bad?
Why are they assuming its to target certain people?
WHy does it matter that much?
Its really the why..
I get it people want it....

Does this now make boob envy viable to you?

I have to say that I think that the people complaining in this thread are insensitive and offensive to women that share similar body types as Bethany and the OP, to call them 'unrealistic' 'unpractical' 'cheap' 'degrading' etc is totally out of order.

Women as all people aren't the same they are different, why can't we accept these differences as they are without giving in to our own insecurities and then calling them wrong?

When ever someone actually makes a good argument, you just dismiss it all or refer to some other point.

It's probably been said before in this 34 page thread, but why are some women so fixated on complaining about the breast size of characters in video games? Men don't rant and rave about how ridiculously muscled male characters are.

The argument used that it isn't a proper representation of them is ridiculous. My body looks nothing like Hawke's body, and looked nothing like the various muscled Heman-like character models from DA:O and various other games. Yet it doesn't bother me even in the slightest. I'm not very tall, so should I complain endlessly if a game makes me play as a really tall guy?

I honestly don't get why women are so off-put by the breast issue of their character or other NPCs.

I think you'll find there is a quite distinct difference.

The exaggerated representation of men in these games is one indicative of empowerment. No matter how silly and juvenile the design may be.
The exaggerated representation of women in these games is one of blatant sexualisation.

of course the women are going to be more sexualized visually

they're sexualized in everything else.  most of the female athletes who get ultrafamous are the super hot ones who pose in swimsuit magazines.  why would videogames be any different?

well, I think it might be because in every video game, boobs are too big or too small...never a medium size.

a FemHawke with medium size boobs. That's fine to me...

Learn to read. It's Big Breasts plus size 0 waist and no muscle. She looks like something out of playboy and created solely for the purpose of ogling by the males (immature boys). She's no warrior, she's a wench!
Good lord man! We wanted Joan of Arc but are getting Red Sonja instead

Go ahead and disagree.
I maintain however that the average male video game protagonist looks and sounds the way he does as part of a clever manipulation of masculine tendencies, ideals and desires.
