The men in Dragon Age don't have arms as big as Arnold, last time I checked.

And by the way, Lady Hawke doesn't have EE cups and its a fantasy game

We've been through this before, Saibh placed a side-by-side picture with Ivy and Pamela Anderson and Bethany ranks up there.

theres a suspension of disbelief regarding a ladies rack, its a trivial matter for gods sake.

Trivial for you. Probably because you want these giant breasts.

And as far as boobs go, its genetic. Its not as if human males suddeunly have a penis that comes out of his anus.

So everybody in Thedas is related? DAMN.

Yeah, WINCEST!

Alright. I feel like a broken record, but...

Magic does not exist. Because it doesn't exist, I have nothing IRL to compare it to. They can make up what they like without hurting my willing suspension of disbelief. I accept that magic is real here, even though it's impossible in the real world, and I don't need for it to follow basic rules (just in-universe consistent ones).

Dragons do exist in fantasy in the real world. Because of that, I expect them to follow certain conventions. They are lizard-like, they fly, they breathe fire. Maybe I would be willing to let go on some of those things, but it should be somewhere around something I'd call a dragon. Besides that, they are free to make up what they wish.

Women do exist in real life. In real life, those proportions are very, very rare. (I've never met a woman with those proportions naturally. Big boobs, sure. Small waist, sure. That big and that small? Never, but there's always a first.) I can compare those figures with real life and say, hey, that's not right! Your willing suspension of disbelief isn't hurt--but you're a guy. For a lot of girls, they are more attuned to that sort of issue and are affected by it. We compare it in real life and find it unrealistic. Not a fantasy, unrealistic.

So you're basically saying, its OK for a fantasy to depict Men as large and as shredded as a champion bodybuilder despite the fact that in medival times, there wasn't proper nutrition nor the necessary drugs to stay and getTHAT shredded and at the same time big along.

Your argument cuts both ways, These kind of men DO exist in real life, but there is not a single athelete or man on this earth, that can get that large(I'm talking 240lbs+ 3% bodyfat) with poor nutrition and withut drug use. So should i blow this out of proportion as well?

No, because 1) Its a game
                         2)Its a fantasy
                         3)Its a friggin small issue

You might as well call out on Mass effects supposed unrealisticness because theres sounds and explosions in space when in real life no sound exists in space at all.

It's called artistic liberty, honestly it's not hard to grasp. If Bioware wanted to make an ultra realistic game where everything was like its real life equivalent they'd done it. Woman in fantasy game does not woman in real like make.

There is a difference between artistic liberties and complete silliness though. To me Bethany's body model is complete silliness, taken beyond any reasonable extreme. If you see it differently then so be it, not all will that as reasonable though.

Agreed, Bioware doesn't seem to share our opinion though.

But how is this "shredded"?

Men aren't that "shredded" in Dragon Age, and certainly not proportionally built as the women are busty.

I'll leave Saibh to explain the argument she just loves to explain again in hopes you actually pay attention this time. :D

Hehe, obviously they don't. I wonder what sparked this, was it the whole sex sells mentality or was the artist just horny as  that day. Maybe there was a body model for Bethany, would love to know if there was and who it was.

I'm not sure why people think that package is the male equivalent to boob size. I don't know any woman personally who looks for absurdly large bulges in a man.

Hawke isn't extremely muscled, he looks like an average man.

Somebody doesn't know how to read, i said lady Hawke, i wasn't talking about Bethany.

Somebody doesn't know how to read, Bethany shares the same breast size as Lady Hawke.

Yes, because someone like you said so, i see it as a trivial matter so therefore it means i want these GIANT breasts. Good logic.

Just because you think it's trivial doesn't make it so, it wasn't "trivial" when a thread managed to reach 75 pages before being locked of people overall being against it. You wouldn't be troubled by people against these gigantic breasts unless you wanted them, what harm would you get if they got shrunk down? Would you lose eye-candy? Would it make you sad? :(

DAMN you are so smart. All i said was a boobs size is related to a girls genetics, that doesn't mean all girls are related if they have large rack.

Every woman in Thedas has a "large rack", you said it's genetic. 1 + 1 together =...

I wouldn't jump to blame the artist(s) either. I mean in the racial concept art they really aren't overly large at all. Blame the 3D modeller I guess?

That is exactly what I said, fact. I have frequently and vehemently argued for disgustingly ripped Marcus Fenixes, also fact. I have never once mentioned anything about realism, the best and truest fact.

Can I point out that Hawke's biceps are not nearly as exaggerated as Bethany's bonkers and waist?
