We are, it's just another uninformed person coming in. Just ignore it.

Men aren't that "shredded" in Dragon Age, and certainly not proportionally built as the women are busty.
I'll leave Saibh to explain the argument she just loves to explain again in hopes you actually pay attention this time.

Seriously? Practically every video game I have laid my hands on has female characters with giant breasts and a tiny waist. This is just playing into the same BS that every other game and most forms of media play into. I'm sorry, but I just can't take your post seriously.

I was referring to Hawke your majesty.
Somebody doesn't know how to read, i said lady Hawke, i wasn't talking about Bethany.

I'm not sure why people think that package is the male equivalent to boob size. I don't know any woman personally who looks for absurdly large bulges in a man.

Please, if you say "artistic vision" or the like one more time, I'm going to bust some facial muscles from all the smirking and chortling. Dumbing down and bro'ing out is not "embracing a different standard of beauty" or whatever the hell the marketing jargon was.
Why do you keep mentioning this?. Bioware doesn't care that you don't share their vision, and that you 'laugh' at them, and neither do I. I don't see the point in bringing it up repeatedly. Giggle away.

Women do exist in real life. In real life, those proportions are very, very rare. (I've never met a woman with those proportions naturally. Big boobs, sure. Small waist, sure. That big and that small? Never, but there's always a first.) I can compare those figures with real life and say, hey, that's not right! Your willing suspension of disbelief isn't hurt--but you're a guy. For a lot of girls, they are more attuned to that sort of issue and are affected by it. We compare it in real life and find it unrealistic. Not a fantasy, unrealistic.

Yeah judging from the responses I've seen on the board the best thing to do is give Garret chest hair.

Mary said in the first Varric thread that the male human models do have chest hair.
There is absolutely no evidence to support the assertion that large breasts on female characters leads to greater sales. I can see why you want to believe that, given just about every other form of media, but games just happen to be different.Ortaya Alevli wrote...

It *is* a fantasy. It's just not a women's fantasy. But I guess that's in line with your take on the issue anyway.
Gamers prefer their characters to look good. For the most part. Now, if gigantic breasts helped with sales and fanbase so far (as in DOA), it's not really a surprise BioWare would follow the same route.
Or maybe them guys in BioWare just wanted to create models as they wished. I'd respect that.
And if they presented us with A cups instead, I'd be like "screw respect, wtf is up with flat chests." But that's beside the point.

Urggh. The reason people are reacting is that the boobs are much, much larger than the DAO female models. Maybe you've been running the porn mod so long that you've forgotten this.Ortaya Alevli wrote...

No, actually, I don't have to respect them at all. And certainly there is a happy medium between flat chested and watermelon sized. DAO managed it.Or maybe them guys in BioWare just wanted to create models as they wished. I'd respect that.

Mama Hawke has an enourmas rack. And so does Aveline. All human female models, which is to say the only human female model in the game, we've seen up to this point have had very large breasts. It can easily be concluded that femHawke will have the same sized chest seeing as she shares the same body structure.Crippledcarny wrote...

But why can't we be strong, capable, AND have large breasts?
Because then women become Mary Sues. And Mary Sues are not compelling or engaging characters. Both physical and mental flaws lead to a more (dare I say it) emotionally engaging. How can a player connect to a virtually perfect character? I want my Hawke to be a dbag with a big nose. I want my femHawke to be buff and capable of ripping off an ogre's head. I don't want some model-esque femmy princess walking in and somehow felling an army of darkspawn with no visible muscles and two jugs just flailing off her chest.
