Tis regretable that my first post be one containing a question, however, I have played the PS3 version of Dragon Age: Origins, and have heard of the Tool Kit contained on the PC version, I am getting a brand new Laptop soon and being the creative person that I am, I cannot pass up the chance to create near anything I could imagine for what I deem to be one of the most amazing role playing games of all time. Regardless of my yearning to use such an interesting moderation tool , I am wondering does it cost anything to download? How many GB does it use? and is it possible to create characters that may join your team?
One more question of a different type: How well will the game work on a laptop with 4 Gigs of memory and a 500 GB hard drive? Its brand new and has windows seven?
I apologize for any inconvenience concerning the location of this post, but I knew not where to post it, forgive me.

I know a friend who had a 2 gig memory and a 250 hard drive and it ran Oblivion so I just figured mine should run Origins rather well.

It doesn't cost anything to download. If you can run the game you can run the toolset, and yes you can create new NPCs with it

One last question: I've seen many posts regarding different glitches and crashes related to the PC version: Is this something I should be concerned about before going out to purchase the game for the PC? Because on the PS3 version I've only noticed one or two glitches for which I should actually worry about. Like not being able to complete Harrowmont's quest even though I DID kill Jarvia. And not being able to open the one door that I need to open in the Main hall of the Cousland family castle to get around the fire and to the Larder. This led to two different restarts however, i dealt with it. I just don't want that to happen if I'm playing somewhere that I can't curse or raise hell.

there's some really detailed posts on the toolset in the toolset section of the forums.
The toolset IS the exact tool they used to build the game. so you can do anything.
with any release, there are always bugs-bioware is great at support though- so i expect updates to become available for anything that crops up.
