Asari. Definitely. They're based on classical precedents, such as the ancient Greek city-states or Florence during the Renaissance, and they always try to be the voice of peaceful cooperation in galactic affairs. Basically, without them the peaceful and ordered state of the galaxy would not exist. Plus, they have the best art, philosophy, economic power, and starships to back it up. The only problem with them is that they've backed themselves into a corner, having been stuck in technological torpor for milennia, and they're kind of a dying superpower as a result. But that just makes them all the more interesting in my opinion.
Pretty much this. I like the Asari because they represent the finer, more abstract parts of historical human culture.timj2011 wrote...
Volus
Every time I see one, i want to give it a hug and go play ping pong with it.
Is the volus the player or the ball?
