I love that Turian. I wonder how many people fail Thane's mission because they're mesmerised by him? Fortunately he's now on YouTube.
And yes, overall, turians are by far my favourite. They're just so damned cool.

On an unrelated note, my favorite alien species would be a tie between turians and krogan. Why?

Turians: based on the best aspects of ancient Roman culture.

Krogan: an entire race of lizards with levels in Barbarian and/or Frenzied Berserker? Awesome.

I think it's a tie between the Asari and the Turians for me.

This game has come up with a lot of very cool,very memorable alien races. With Kurgan, Batarian, Asari, Turian, etc.....so good!!!! Cant just pick one!

Krogan, they may come across as being selfish, have a lust for blood nearly all the time, and as being dumb. They're actually quite intelligent, and can be changed. They aren't set in their way, as Wrex usually came to terms with your decisions. I like them a lot.

Each and every one of the races (minus the batarians and vorcha) had something appealing to them.

The various species and the entire universe of Mass Effect is what I love so much about it, so I probably love all of them.



But my favorite definitely has to be the Elcor.

I like them all. However, there are quite a few individual characters I dislike that are aliens, but none outweigh the amount of Human characters I dislike. TBH the Humans are probably my most hated race personally, in Mass Effect.

Hmmm... I just don't like humans that much. But if I had to pick here's my list:

1:Asari - they can remember things that even most accurate of literature forgets.

2:Quarians - they remind me of gypsies, but not the modern day gypsies but during medieval times.

3:Elcor - all the elcor I've met have been very polite.

4:Turians - (it was a tight one between them and elcor by the way, but I don't like voilence so...) they are a lot like Russian and Japanese people combined. I love Japan and respect Russia, so it's all good.

5:Geth/Rachni - I'd like to see the geth work alongside Quarians, no against them. I saddens me that they fight. I'd like the Rachni to be allowed to live. The one thing I really hate about krogans and the rest of the species who decided to wipe the rachni out.

7:The rest. Don't much like humans, so they're at the bottom with the vorcha, the varren and batarians.

I like all the Mass Effect aliens. I've been really impressed with how well they're all designed and how much thought has been put into them. If I had to choose from the "important species" I'd go with the Asari for their philosophy and the Turian's for their design and military skill.



That being said, I like the amusing species like the Elcor, Volus and Hanar. I'm kind of hoping that one of those will be a companion in ME3. It could happen. Every character doesn't have to be "badass" and "tainted" to be cool. Though it does help...
