Well the title says it all
I bought BG 4 in 1 Compendium 4 months ago and finally completed TOB last night
What can I say ? Can words accurately describe the phenomenal gaming experience that I was subjected to ?If I wasn't so garrulous, and this wasn't my view of the series,  I would say no :)
But I'll endeavor to do justice to this series of cRPGS
As I've mentioned many times ..this is the most superlative RPG I have ever played
The excitement ,strategies ,humor ,frustration and general game-play makes me easily say that. The true optional questing and way the you have to almost  always think about battles just reinforces my opinion
Now there is a negative side to how much I loved the BG series
Its has now set a benchmark for me around what I ideally would expect from party based RPGs that should  offer  complex and challenging game-play
I am now unashamedly in that  group of people  that thinks Bioware has comprised on the overall RPG experience by the  design fundamentals of DA ...it is far too simple and doesn't excite like BG
And this is not a DA bashing session...I enjoyed it immensely but I'm simply comparing it to BG and of course this is my opinion
I know the days of BGish  party based RPG's are more or less over as games are really designed for Console and PC but I am the eternal optimist and there are some really good single character RPG's about to be released that look awesome
So in closing " Thanks Bioware for making BG"  and allowing me to experience the wonder and marvel of the series :)
