Hey guys, I've already done 5 challenges and I just have volcanic hunt, and both of the time trials left. The time trials I can probably do, but does anybody have any hints for the volcanic hunt. As do exactly what OP's video says, except I can never get past 38 kills. Usually its the timer that ends me, not the actual damage. If it helps, I am a level 57 soldier who has full spectre gear equipped for me and my entire squad. I have level X inferno ammo equipped as I do not have any anti-synthetic ammo left. Please help me because this is the 3rd day I am stuck on this mission. Thanks in advance.
2 Medical Exoskeleton Xs on everyone, for maximum power spammability.
Tactical pause ALL THE TIME, and use all powers AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
Master Lift will kill anything by collision with the ceiling. Throw causes instant kills in various places. Singularity is helpful at stopping a bunch of geth from hiding and swirling them out in the open.
Tali's Overload saves plenty of time by removing shields; basically helps make geth drop just from looking at them. Sabotage and Damping, though doing relatively little damage, help nonetheless because any extra damage is welcome.

EDIT: WOW just WOW. So I forgot to save before Ahern's mission and I die during the mission, and I get teleported back to Pinnacle station with only 1 mission left before I can do Ahern's mission again. So I think to myself, not bad, and I start the mission which is capture on subterranean. And geuss what: I do the mission exactly how I did before and I always come up around 3-5 seconds short. Fricking bugs. I've probably seen 3 videos and I do exactly hat the videos say but I can't get it under the time limit. Any tips or fixes for known bugs on Subterranean capture would be greatly appreciated.

Learn where the first spot is, and storm to it.
You can get there so fast you won't even have to worry about fatigue.
After that, just storm to the next two.
Do NOT hit fatigue, and you'll be fine.
Unless you're actually in a zone waiting for the capture bar to fill up - IGNORE THE MOOKS.
With Colossus X and MedExoXs they can't do any harm.

On Veteran and below I camp Ash forward and to the left of the left building, where she can provide flanking fire if one of the geth tries to hide behind those crates. On Insanity you just need more DPS than you can get from guns alone and you'll want Garrus/Tali tech spam instead, but hacked geth can flank too, so that works.
Capture is all about who you bring with you. Liara and Kaidan's all you really need; drop a Singularity at the nearest choke point, and Throw anyone who gets past it, and don't even worry about killing anyone ever.

That Tropical Time Trial was driving me nuts! Wrex with a shotgun and Garrus with a sniper rifle worked for me (Vanguard)

- Actually, what worked for me as vanguard, wasn't the spot in the Hunt video, but the "starter" terrace with the two Geth. You may want to finish it before Virmire, depending on whom you want to save and your class: I brought Ash along with Wrex; those two are fairtly indestructible and can, unlike your Vanguard, wear heavy armour. (I have Ash in Colossus X and Wrex all decked out in neon with a Berserker X- Ash has kinetics and medical x shielding, Wrex has two combat x shields)
Give them Tungsten bullets, frictionless materials and a scram rail on their level 10 Spectre weaponry
My Femshep is wearing a Mantis X with kinetic and medical upgrades.
As you're a slower shooter because of the pistol/shotgun combo, remember that the geth get those shield thingies up, and you need to spend some time shooting them down so you can get a clear shot.
Fastest way to get rid of destroyers is Throw or Lift. (you save shooting time)
Also, even though you're on the platform, use SHIFT + W as much as you can to speed up your movement.
Ahern's mission was a cruise with Ash and Wrex on their respective ledges and my FemShep on the third with Sledgehammers and Shredder ammo. The only thing which didn't work, of all things, was the evac timer, it didn't count down.

EDIT: And before someone asks me the stupid question that is coming. When I ran to the middle door I obviously closed it and kept closing it as they attempted to open it up.

I kept it as the last mission I had left before jetting off to Ilos as I had heard bad things about it but nothing could have prepared me for how frustrating I found it. The survival and capture scenarios were easy once I figured the layout and hunt was tricky but I got there soon enough. However the time trail mission, especially the tropical one nearly made me smash my tv in. Especially as you had to go through that whole pre-scenario chat after every failure. Seriously, have they ever heard of a retry button???
But then I found this thread and your excellent advice. While the videos were good, it was the weapon load outs that helped me through the torture. And now from the comfort of my swanky new apartment complete with grenade dispensing machine (I seriously have to get me one of those) I give you my sincerest thanks.
