Damn it! You beat me to it!

The Illusive Man (I said this in another thread before the DLC was announced) mainly due to some of the chat in ME2 while talking to TIM during cut scenes, made him sound like he could be the Shadow Broker. Since the DLC was announced though I believe my theory was incorrect.

I'm now pointing the finger at the Geth due to some of the conversations between Shepard and Legion

I think the Shadow broker is multiple AIs. Not reapers, but various AIs of other origins.

Many people have already guessed its a reaper and I say it is too but not just cause I say it is. It is not just any reaper, Harbinger was the harvester of biological matter. His "job" was to look for a species who's genetic material could be used to advance and reproduce the reaper species. The Shadow Broker reaper's job is to harvest the technologies, all sentient life's' locations, and as much info as needed to facilitate the destruction of all sentient life when the reapers make their return. He is the reaper of information.

Makes no sense for it to be a reaper...

Saren (when controlled by Sovereign) betrayed the Shadow Broker. Which is why Barla Von, on behalf of the Shadow Broker, gives you information for free.

Ok, to be serious, I'd say Miranda's Father. The man has alot of connections, and it is very possible he is the SB.

The only reason I'm not positive its him, is because the Dlc is about Liara first and formost. If Miranda got involved, it would derail Liara's story.



So, I'll guess its Anoleis, or Lorik Qui'in as a second guess. Even though they are both VERY unlikely. *I really want that armor!!!!*

While this would be awesome if true I suspect otherwise. The Raloi are newly discovered, yes? The SB has been around alot longer.

but based on the councils current actions maybe the council covers the race up in order to understand there part
