I call my brother 'boy' or 'bro', so it's not as big an issue as your LI calling you Warden xD
True, very true XD
My bet is on "pup".
Will Bethany call hawk "hawke"

Just a thought is all. Or maybe we will be lucky and be able to choose her personality.

So we get a bipolar sister? No thnxNiarviel wrote...
Perhaps Bethany's personality will be a sort of counter to your own, like how Hawke will have a natural personality based on your choices such as good/evil/sarcasm. Like say you have a sarcastic hawke, Bethany will be all serious.

Later on in the game people will refer Hawke as "Champion"

Well, I prefer "please don't kill me" over "Champion". Because the latter reminds me of Oblivion's "Champion of Cyrodill".Ayanko wrote...

Or Fable.
Or Overlord.
Though I did like Overlord's title parodies!

If you'd just write the whole game this way, you could do away with the fixed surname entirely.David Gaider wrote...

She probably won't call him/her anything, except a reference as brother/sister occasionally.

Your family never refers to you as "Hawke". That would be silly.
Even the family realizes Hawke is a sily name!
I see what you did there.

Did pople complain as much about Shepard's name as they do about Hawke's? I wasn't around back then.

I really hope not, at least not among friends. I have had lots of friends in the past where their last name becomes their nick name so that would not feel completely out of place, but a friend calling you champion would completely ruin the feel of the conversation.

Unless they use "Champion" if they've known you long enough.
That would be cool

"Due to the Bethany romance demand we have decided that she will call him The Grandmaster Of Love"
When I read that, I thought it was a joke but then discovered that there actually is a group of people who want such a romance D:
I thought this madness died in the BG2 days.

...i mean "pup", what the hell is all that about?
Plus if your sons a fierce warrior it could mean alot more. Dogs are considered, brave and noble animals, so if you think about it, a Fereldan would take that as a compliment.

I wonder if Bethany would just say, "I love you, sibling!" Or, "Let me heal you, sibling!", This was a post made solely for giggles. Do not take it seriously or personally.
That looks like a bad Japanese subtitle.

She did not reply well to 'sup ****, make me a sandwich', this also did not get a positive reception from my father who happens to be behind me when i said it.
