Stupid question. I have a dreadful internet connection, but I have to patch the game and the toolset. Files are huge, from what I read, so I would like to ask a friend for downloading them and give the files to me by an USB key.
Is there a place where I can download those files and how can I tell the game "go, and install the files that are in this folder on the hard disk"?

Vaalyah here are the necessary links for doing this:

NWN2 Official Language Patches -- Neverwinter Nights 2 Vault for most of them in patch and language order.

The latest patches to take you from 1.22.1688 (I think it is) up to 1.23.1765 is here:

This section is in no clear order of either language or patch number, so it's a hunting game.

Put the patch files in your install directory and disconnect your internet connection. Then run the updater utility... it will detect the files and do a local update.

Thank you, guys. I just hope this method would work also for Italian language game.

Software is software, Vaalyah and the internet is the internet. Language is only a set of 1' & 0's in all that.

I was referring to translated dialogues.

ie: I've installed the romance pack. When the author added some more sentences to an existing dialogue, language shifts of course from Italian to English, but eventually, this causes some problems...
