Ok, so I'm doing the luna mission where you kill the VI thing.  I just looked up at the earth (since your on the moon), and I think they put the earth on backwards.

I don't know if anyone noticed this before, but it looks like Bayha mexico is on the east side and Florida is on the west side, so the american contanent is backwards. Seriously, the great lakes and everything are facing the wrong lateral direction.

Try Klyst's TexMod fix.

(Yes, others have noticed this before. ;])

maybe it's your position on the moon... like you're facing earth's south on the moon's north?

^^

no, because the great lakes are still oriented correctly along the Y axis, just not along the X axis. Everything still seems to be oriented correctly along the north and south bounds.

sumof all fear pretty much has it right, but I did a visual representation more for my own ability to comprehend what we should be seeing. Yeah, and I had a model molecular set for chemistry as well that I had to put together when working on right and left-handedness, too. :P

This is the Earth as we know it, and we'll assume this is what it looks like from the northern hemisphere of the Moon:

This is how the Earth should look as viewed from the southern hemisphere of the Moon:

And this is how the Earth looks like in the game:

Makes me wonder if something about the code involuntarily flipped the image on them, or they thought they'd be clever and try to go with the southern hemisphere outlook but got it wrong. Or something else.
