Wow, they really did.  Well, that takes care of my yearly quota for character forum visits.

It always seemed rather pathetic to me.

However you feel about them, they have placed their lives in your hands. You are their commander, it is your responsibility to look after them, make sure they all make it out.

I imagine my annoyance will fade with time. But It'll take years to undo the damage they've done.

My Shepard would never get anyone killed for the sake of dislike. That applies even characters like Miranda, Jacob, and Kelly, whom she doesn't feel she can ever really trust because of their Cerberus affiliation.

Just what exactly is so annoying about them? And why take it out on Tali? How did you feel about Tali before you were overexposed to her fandom?

I think it's a bit lame for no one to die on a SUICIDE mission, but i'll have to see who plays what roles in ME3 to decide whether they live or die

Probaly gonna kill Jacob no matter what

If tali has a larger role than my LI she dies too

Zaeed is an arse likley to die

Rather see thane go out in blaze of glory thane quietly in bed

Just avoid any and all character appreciation threads like they're the black death.  Saves a lot of headaches, and you only have to deal with the occasional spillover into other parts of the forums.

Boring,Never visited forums before ME2
Never used tali never thought she said anything intresting and halfway through ME1 stop wasted the time to walk down to engines to talk to her. Was an understatment to say i was suuprised by her fan mass when compared to a far more deserving character such as WREX
She got better in ME2 but felt she was just there as a fan service and would have preferred they put kasumi in as full squadmate/romance or made Samara fully romancable

I've never killed anyone in the SM, but I confess to taking certain avenues towards fulfilling my petty revenge/grudge desires against those I may not love quite so much (i.e., recruiting that character later rather than sooner).

Gasp. You monster.

Just my opinion...No need to go spreading it around or anything.

Because it's deliciously anti-social to kill your crew and npcs.. I'd kill every last person on Omega if I could.

I've never been one to kill off a squadmate just because I didn't like them.

I'd rather choose not to use or interact with them, as much as possible, and keep all of my resources available when need be.
i.e. bonus or squad usage powers.

The enemies/bad guys, on the other hand, are fair game in my book.  Image IPB

Is it this scarring to discover that other people have extremist opinions?

Considering that forums allow you to post selectively and ignore everything you dislike, the fact that a large portion of the community has a different opinion than you is irrelevant. Especially when this forum's layout is designed to keep supporters grouped in certain threads and groups; I don't like Jack, but I don't think it's such a tragedy that other people do, to the point that I need to go post some images of Jack dying.

I could see doing a playthrough with certain squadmates dead to see how it effects ME3 but I've never intentionally killed any squadmate.

Except Morinth.

OK, Nightwriter, you asked for it.

1. Tali: fan service, dropballed comeback. Dies in the Engineering (true Quarian death).

2. Thane: inappropriate outfit, boring, being green. Dies by the pipes (he had some experiance with infiltration... and headshots).

3. Jack: inapproprite outfit, belongs elsewhere (Riddick's universe). Gets carried away by the seeker swarms (back to Pitch Black, I suppose). That said, I liked her, so here's some drama.

4. Mordin: inappropriate outfit. Dies at Door 2 to deliver the epic "Tell them I held the line" line. 3rd best liked character to me, so heavy drama.

5. Jacob: inappropriate outfit. Dies protecting the Cerberus crewmembers. Drama (had to uncheck his loyalty in the GSE)

6. Garrus: fan service, spineless. Dies after the final boss fight (had to uncheck his loyalty in the GSE).

7. Miranda: extremely inappropriate outfit, high heels. Dies at "hold the line" section (had to uncheck his loyalty in the GSE).

8. Samara: inappropriate outfit, Asari high heels, cleavage. Killed to recruit Morinth, who loathes Samara's clothes and prefers standard Asari commando uniform.

9. Grunt: KROcodile GANgster. Plus inapropriate outfit, of course. Stays in the pod, awaiting a request from TIM to become a Cerberus guinea-pig.

This will be my ME3 import.

I like all the squaddies. But even if I didn't, I can't see any utility in killing off even the characters I'm not fond of. I might, you know, need something from them in the future. It'd be nice if they owed me their lives. *steeples fingers*

Yeah I never understood it either, as if someone's hate for someone or their going out of their way to purposefully kill them and only them because they dislike them or what they represent might prevent bioware from bringing them back in ME3.

Bah....I certainly dislike Zaeed and Jack but I do not waste my time killing them on purpose or worse reminding everyone in almost every post I make ofhow much I dislike them and wish them out of ME3 altogether
