Yeah you youngin's wanting everyone to be between 18-22. Most of the characters are in the 25-35 range. I picture my Warden, Leliana, and Morrigan to be in the late-20s to early 30s range. Alistair prolly in that range too. Its not Final Fantasy where everyone is 15-17.

I think we've moved on to how old we think the characters look/act rather than their official ages. Besides, when has a definitive answer ever ended an internet speculation session?

That is possible, but it doesn't fully give excuse to the way Alistair acts. Not saying that I think Alistair is a horrible person (I'd be a lot like him if I were in the game I suppose), but at times he can act somewhat immature and whiny despite that he has had more of a venturous experience with socializing. Of course Morrigan might not necessarily be immature, as she tends to hold herself high and her beliefs are very rarely conceived otherwise by the Warden's persuasion, but she does seem fragile on the inside and requires the Warden's encouragement, especially if he's a male and romanced her. I chose to romance her and did my best to be as good an influence on her as possible. All she needs is the proper social experiences in modern human society after all.

I do not know her age either, but I am more than certain Fran is older than 50, perhaps 100. Lore in the story says the last time she even laid eyes on her homeland before the game was 50 years ago.

If Flemeth is not what she appears to be, I wonder if Morrigan might be of the same entity that Flemeth is.

I thought all fictional characters are over 18 years old as a rule in a game rated 18+...oh wait. :innocent:

Anyhow, if people go by the theory that F + M = M, then Morrigan has to be over 30 at least. Though I rather sceptical of that theory myself.

Though I am all for a game which the main character is in his teen years, his attitude and voice output suggest much different. Certain Final Fantasy titles, as mentioned before, do tend to have upper teen protagonists, while others, believe it or not, such as Metal Gear Solid 4, the protagonist is a seasoned veteran who had lived many years on the battlefield. It does make sense to me in certain settings to allow a younger character as the Warden in DA:O, but for me, I tend to have my character out in his mid 20s as well.

Morrigan was the romance interest of my main character, so it was important to me to make her age almost the same as my Warden's, despite the conan posted earlier; however since apparently it's "official" that she is in her upper or so 20s, I decided to make her a couple years older than the Cousland hero.

I'd wager late twenties. In so many ways she has an ageless quality about her suggesting an understanding of the world far far older than a twenty, thirty or even a forty year old would have. And then she might say something revealing her woeful ignorance.

BUMPY wimpy..

Warden Noble .. I'd say around 24 years old. Family and nobility was different in medieval time. Man married much later in life and family were much closer.

Morrigan - It`s been confirmed that she`s late 20's to  early 30`s .. So between 28 - 32 years old.

Leliana - Around the age of Morrigan.

Allistair .. Seem to be around 25 years old.

Duncan - 45 Years old

Oghren - Mid life crisis .. 45 years old and not 35 years old like so many people give him. Mid life crysis at 35 ? Geez . He seem to be experienced enough for a dwarf and by looking at his concept art and pic + attitude.. He`s mid forties in my book . Period.

Sten seem to be early forties.

Wynne early sixties.

Zevran .. Seem to be around the age of Allistair .. but just much more experienced with life. Seen to omuch too soon ?

Loghain ... Hmmm ... Early fifties (52-54). Anora is early thirties (which is quite Canon) and a couple of years older than Cailan .. So Cailan probably around 28 years old.

has for the other Warden .. The youngest seem to be the mage and city elf. While the oldest being the Human and dwarf noble.

There's almost no chance that Duncan is 45 as Suprez30 has suggested. If memory serves you have around 30 years, give or take, as a Grey Warden, provided you are not killed in battle, before the taint takes you. Duncan was coming to the end of his Grey Warden life, which would mean he was around 15 when recruited, if Suprez's suggestion is correct.

The characters could be pretty much any age, as the game is clearly not set in our world. We only understand life on our own planet.
