Hey in the combat vid does anyone know all the spells she used?
I saw glyph of paralysis lightning winters grasp fireball walking bomb death syphon crushing prison and the new spell firestorm. Any i miss?
I really want her reveal to come out on the da2 site. All the warriors and rogues have had theirs.

The closer we get to release, the more I worry Bethany will die at Lothering if you are a Mage!Hawke. I'd love to be proved wrong though.



Saying that, if this were to happen, what would all the Bethany fans who primarily play as mages do?

My guess is that, if this does happen, she'll be closer to the male PC than the female PC as same gender siblings tend to develop stronger rivalries.
This said, we never know how Bioware is going to surprise us.

If there were to be any difference aside from maybe one or two lines of dialogue you might or might not get depending on your gender, probably it will just be a stat somewhere that makes it easier for a female character to have rivalry with her.

Companions get unique talent trees, such as Isabela's swashbuckler tree.  I don't know if they get additional specializations or not, though.

Buah? She was trained by her father who was also an apostate. I haven't heard anything about her ever going to the Circle.

Where is that from? I was under the impression that neither her nor Mage!Hawke had ever been apart of the Circle, exclusively trained by their apostate father.

Gosh-darn it, I KNEW this would happen! Bioware *always* does this to characters I like! (Granted, there is still a minimal chance the game could ship and suddenly I find I don't like her, but that seems a small chance, as now I'm practically guaranteed to absolutely adore her.)

I feel depressed about their choice. I was hoping to be the older mage brother who protects his younger mage sister. Now I have to be a sneaky backstabber or a herp-derp plate guy.
