I liked her humor in the demo =) already set for a mage for the first Hawke but it will be alot of fun to discover Bethany in the 2:nd run. I really liked her in the demo.

Well after a few minutes of the demo I finaly worked out why Bethany wouldn't look out of place in a Star Wars movie. It's not the dress/robe/bizarre mail hauberk.



She seems to have Natalie Portman's eyebrows. There seesm to possibly be an attempt at a facial resemblance too. I wonder if anyone else is seeing that or if it's just me. Probably just me.

Sucks if not as she's a cool looking Charecter unlike the generic bloke your stuck with in the demo when she dies

Yes.

They will change depending on your character, unless you play with default Hawke that is.

Especially the eyes/eyebrows, yeah, but then also the entire face in general. When I first saw her, she immediately gave me that dejavu feeling with her striking resemblance, but at the time I didn't know why. Thanks for the reminder.

I actually see alittle bit of Eliza Dushku in her face, and it seems to be like her VA's first language wasnt English as her sentencing is alittle weird.

I was actually thinking about going as the default Marian as well, but first I have to see how far I can go with the customization before I can decide.

I'm starting to warm to the VA a bit now, there's still a couple of lines in the demo that seem a little flat but on the whole I don't think she was too bad, her's was the only VA that actually sounded upset at sibling death moment.

Well the whole changing outfits thing seems to be out for this one. Though I'm wondering if characters will ever change their clothes. Or maybe at least have Alternate outfits. I mean even Mass Effect 2 had Alternate outfits.

I hope they bring out an update for the toolset so that someone can make a mod to not kill her if you're a mage. I know they say it will mess stuff up in cutscenes or whatever, but there has to be some way to trick the game into thinking that Bethany was supposed to survive.

I loved her VA i didn't think any thing was wrong with her lines and im glad it worked out the way it did with warrior and mages. I really feel sorry for Carver because i never play as a mage which is why im glad warriors get Beth and mages get Carver lol.

I think one of the dev's mentioned doing that would mess with the game or story of the game becuase it's supposed to have the whole Mages versus the Chantry thing so they want one mage and one non-mage.

No they dont. There all veiny and wizzened. Zoom in on that. If you think thats normal, look at hawks, aveline's, carver or varrics and enjoy how not gross they are.
