Sounds like they're dropping the ball with the sibling thing. Whichever sibling gets saved is taken out of your party early on accoriding to the Spoiler thread. Looks like Beth is temporary at best.

A pity - having a sibling companion could really have been a unique and interesting aspect.

I was 100% sure I was gonna play Mage, but playing the demo, first time meeting this girl, I changed my mind. I'm gonna go Warrior, still a shame, 'cause I bet Mage would have been awesome *sigh

Maybe we can play a Mage Hawke as heavily in denial and have him dress Carver in Bethany's outfit and wear lipstick?.

Here are some pictures in how Bethany and Carver can differ in appearence depending on Hawke's look.  They are posted by users who used a mod to modify the demo so they can use the character creator.  However, these differing Bethany and Carver looks may be something that was changed in the retail version.  The demo, and assumingly, the CC in the demo, are from an old build.  It definitely gives the game replay value.  I am not sure of my full opinion of this at the moment.  I will have to wait and see it when I play DA2 myself.

So, yeah.  Take these as what you will.  This could be in the retail version, or it may be different.

I rather like this one, I did see some awful ones of Bethany when a darker skinned Hawke was chosen she had dark skin on her head but the rest of her was still pale, like she had slapped plenty of fake tan on her head but forgot the rest of her body, that said the demo was an early build so hopefully this will be fixed in the retail version.

I have to admit, that makes it tempting to use another Hawke preset, instead of the default one.
