We should absolutely make bethany fan creations. She doesn't get enough game-time, so we'll make stuff for her!
Stoned Bethany: "Ya know sis... remember that chantry sister... Leliana? in lothering?.... she had nice...... shoes."

Agreed. I was pretty dissapointed by the lack of Bethany fan-creations, so now we have to make them by ourself, I think I'll use some time planned for my other fic to write that joke story. My drawning skills don't go further then stickmen so don't expect any fanart from meAlexein wrote...

Bethany does seem to like shoes too, to bad Bioware had to take her away from the party before Hawke meets Leliana

Isabela: What? She needed to lighten up.
Varric:...so she's.
Isabela: Yes.
*everyone laughs*
Hawke:......Note to self next time an Arishok demands Isabela I'm giving her to him!
Hawke: Isa- *looks around* Wait where is she?
Varric: She ran away, said something about stealing the cheese fom the King of Ferelden or something like that.
I must say though, I find the idea of Bethany giggling uncontrollably very adorable
Alistair:...so it's all gone?
Guard: Yes sire all of your cheese is gone.
Alistair: THIS IS MORRIGAN'S FAULT I KNOW IT!!!
Isabela: I got all the cheese just like you asked...
Morrigan: Goood gooooood my overly complex plan is now one-quarter of the way to completion!!!
Isabela: Well...you have fun with that....

Beth: Isabela? You're here early.
Isabela: That's because I never left last night, my dear.
Beth: You didn't? Why not?
Isabela: You sister needed my... expert services to deal with a major crisis.
Beth: Really? Bodahn didn't mention anything about you two leaving last night.
Isabela: We never left her room... *giggle*
Beth: Wait... you two didnt.... oh maker! Isabela! Did you and my sister...?
Isabela: She does this amazing thing with her tongue where-
Beth: Oh maker, I'm not listening! Not listeng, lalalalala!
*Beth runs to her bedroom covering her ears and bright red while Isabela falls over laughing*

Agreed. That's why on my mage I tried to make her look like the default Bethany but gave up since I'm useless with sliders and creativity. Damn the PS3 not being able to mod.

I agree too. I had much less motivation in Act 2 and 3 then with my Warrior since her main goal was protecting Bethany, she really didn't cared about the Templar vs Mage conflict. My Mage on the other hand... well let's just say she wasn't really friends with Carver the Templar.AlrinKireen wrote...

I have a question fro you all:
What did you do with people who were involved with Bethany's kidnapping in Act 3? I killed everyone I could and said to Cullen that the rest should be executed, I might hate Meredith, but there's no mercy for people who touch my little sister.

I was more worried at the end of Act 2 when you first meet Orsino and see Bethany lying on the ground unconcious among all those dead Mages, then I was thinking "Oh hell no Bioware, you just killed Leandra, not Bethany now too!" if she was dead then I think I would've ragequitted from the game...

In retrospect, there is one aspect where Beth dodged the bullet by going to the Circle: Hawke and Isabela were lovers... ergo, Isabela was at the house... alot. I can only imagine what that would've done to Beth's innocence.

Starting to think that maybe I should have left her and see how she is being in the Circle as I don't like seeing her so sad everytime my Hawke meets her.

Ok just done the Nathaniel side quest and guess what I meet Bethany Warden again and it hurts me to see how sad she still is. Having played a Warden in Origins I knew the life was a bit tough but always thought it was a noble line to take. Maybe in Origins/Awakenings you don't really get a sense of how really tough being a Warden is or being away from family is more tougher for her than other Wardens.

Grey Wardendom is a perpetual death sentence hanging over your head for the rest of your life, just a stay of execution really. I can't blame Bethany at all for being so bitter about it.

I agree. Doesn't Bethany also have higher amount of nightmares then normally? Imagine nightmares like the Warden's every time you go to sleep.Lord Zeuss wrote...

And at the end you can free Bethany from the Circle, you can't quit from being a Warden.
