No, I don't think Bethany is bisexual, bi-curious, or bi-anything. (Well, okay, I think evidence is irrefutable that she is bipedal, but who isn't?) In fact, I doubt the concept had ever occurred to her at all, given her reaction to Isabela's Isabela-ness.

Ok so I'll stop with the heartless self promotion but I will say this.

lets be honest, you can never expect anything in a bioware game. Merrill looked straight, so i expected her to be straight, yet she was revealed to be open to romance witha femHawke as well as guyHawke. for all we knnow bethany may be a straight up lesbian.

also i thought morrigan was gonna be the BI option in origins, yet she wasn't.

she could also have had someone convince her to try another woman.

Remember, Bethany is a virgin, so she could swing both ways and not know it.

That's my reason for having doubts, you never know it with Bioware. I still didn't believe I could romance Merrill as female even while I was flirting with her at the begin of the game...

The indications given in-game don't suggest to me that Bethany is sexually interested in women. Sure she *might*, because there was de facto confirmation that "no, she isn't", just like the earth's core might be made of *cheese* because no one's ever gone all the way down there and been able say "no, that is definitely not cheese."

The earth's core part we can still eliminate things. The weight of the crust and mantle would convert any-preexisting cheese into a non-cheese substance. Then there is the issue of where the cheese came from...

...Bethany's orientation though is a little more ambiguous, we'd need an actual canon story/game to set that.

 the fan art is kinda neat, and i was saying that despite the indicators saying she is not BI, which they are telling me, you cant expect her to be straight if she becomes a companion/LI for another protagonist.

Despite her curiosity on 'which six?' I doubt Bethany is anything but straight. To the disappointment of the many girls that get taken in just as easily as the guys.

I tend to agree with some that Bethany would be straight, but who knows what Bioware might do and we do need more of Bethany's story to really get a picture of her sexuality. Did she have a crush on anyone in Lothering or was her life there a constant hiding from Templars?

Yeah, ella is the apprentice you save from ser Alrik. She's a child or young teen and Bethany is basically saying she likes her as teacher would like a student.


Ser Tamra's is a different letter, i think you get it in act 1.

Edit: I'm far too lazy to go all the way down the page and post again, so i'm going to do this. I've never sent Ella back to the Circle, so the letter I get from Bethany says that she is working with the children and that some of the younger apprentices have taken a liking to her.

I agree with that. But I also think her "Six?!" had a certain "What am I missing out on?! *can't wait to try* flavor to it
