I can dig this, Cullen has had more visible character progression than any other person in the game, I'd probably include protagonists and companions in that as well. 
I could see them being a good match as she would probably appeal to a softer Cullen a bit jaded with the Templars after DA2 as she also understands and seems to abhore the mage practises that he is against.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one thinking of Nathaniel/Bethany! That pairing would be just adorbs.

I hope not.  Maybe I'm playing a totally different game to you but I have never liked him from Origins to DA2, still find him so anti mage and he was a keen follower of Meredith albeit a quick change at the end does not make up for it.

When I picked the path of her being a Grey Warden I found myself warming to the idea of her and Nathaniel.  On the Circle path I still haven't seen anyone I think is good enough for her.  Probably best her staying  a spinster.

Well you have to feel for the guy. He was very kind to the mages in the magi origin story, it was the crap that happened in the circle that messed him up- with good reason. By the end of DA2 though, he changes. If you side with the templars, he wants to spare the 3 mages that beg for mercy and is against Meredith's invokement of the right of annulment. 

Besides, hes one of the npcs that actually got better looking in his transition from DA:O to DA2.

What about that elf apostate mage in DA:O? i think his name was Aneirin.

He seems decent enough for Circle Bethany. He's a healer rather than a blood mage, and he feels outside of both the circle and the Dalish, so he can relate to Bethany's feelings of being an outsider.

On a different note I've been trying to make my mage look like the default Bethany as on PS3 I'm not sure if you can mod on it.  So I asked my friend who has the game on PC if he could make Beth a preset and send me the sliders.  He did do this but said since its a .mor file it doesn't look like her.

As you can see it's not very good so I suppose I hope someone nice at Bioware will show me how to create her using the sliders if at all possible.

Pretty good, however I fear Carver did more than nail her braids to the bed, it appears he shaved off her eyebrows too...

EDIT: Seriously though I think she needs a slightly rounder face.

Well then instead of running he wil now volunteer to go bald with the help of my Greatsword.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I didn't notice it first since I didn't expected it. How does one menage to make a mistake like take will remain a mystery to me...

Bethany has a much rounder face.. the hair etc... is fine but her face shape and features make her look like an older Bethany on speed
bigger eyes, need eyebrows, no eyeshadow, less protruding chin I think would be good points to improve on that face

did anyone notice how weird the mouth constanly looks? I wish you could at least make it have a slight smile or frown or in the middle.. but that constant :| face makes my new mage character look stupid.

Ok, finally got the letter deleivered to my Act 1 game. (Just finished the first encounter with Cullen and completed Acts of Mercy if either one is a speific trigger for it.) Letter says:

Dear Bethany,

I'm so sorry. I don't know what happened to Tamra. I think her family fled to Redcliff, but I haven't been able to locate them. I don't have much hope left, but miricles can happen. I will keep trying. I know Tamra was a close firend. I will write you as soon as I hear something.

I hope your family is doing well in Kirkwall. Please send my love to you mother. I will keep praying for you all.
