They are and there is not. This (Bethany romance) actually was suggested by fans the moment Bethany was revealed. David Gaider dropped in and was pretty...shocked anyone would suggest such a thing.

So I'm guessing no on that Bethany romance.

I just wondered if the character creator will allow us to make the PC look like Bethany and have twins running around. That would be quite nice, imo.

Edit: Maybe even name her Bethany, too, to get us totally confused.

I'm not sure about making Hawke an identical twin, but intentionally creating a character who closely resembles Bethany is a brilliant idea, as sisters would naturally share many of the same physical characteristics. I'm going to do that. Thanks for the idea.

It might also be interesting if Bethany became besotted with a male character who Hawke knows is no good for her. If Hawke tells Beth to stay away from the man she likes, Benanty gets upset and angry ("You might be the 'Chamption of Kirkwall', but not everything you say is the Maker's Law!'). If Hawke encourages the match, Bethany is thrilled, but Hawke knows there might be dire repercussions later on. And if Hawke discloses the dark secret Bethany's potential suitor is hiding, the man -- whoever he happens to be -- finds out, strongly disapproves of Hawke by 40+ points and even leaves the group. 

Now those are some tough moral choices.

lol, seriously, If you have seen any of my other posts you would know that I generally dont have good things to say about the art but this is the only pic i've seen where bethany's hair isn't purple and Hawke looks pretty bad-ass and you cant tell how JRPG the sword is in this pic too.

That just makes me think that DA3 will somehow run parallel to DA2 and that Bethany would be a LI for the DA3 protagonist (who thankfully would not be Hawke or a relative). I really shouldn't need that clarification but THIS BOARD SOMETIMES...
