I'm hoping for a true Blaze of Glory ending for ME3 where Shepard has to sacrifice his or her own life to stop the Reapers. Or at leas the option to have that sort of ending. And by blaze of glory I don't mind skipping content and making bad decisions to get yourself killed, like you had to do in ME2. I'm talking about an ending where Shepard takes all necessary precautions and makes the right stategic and tactical decisions, but still is faced with making a tough choice where he may have to sacrfice his own life. That, or let someone else die (i.e. Anderson or one of your teammates) and strike the final blow.

Don't forget that Cerberus gave him a new life, and we don't know how they modified Shepard's body. Maybe now he is, talking like a doctor, biologically just born, so his life will be really long. Anyway, i'm sure we will se something about it in ME3, maybe Shepard will be able to live as long as the Asari.

My Shep will live FOREVER and I refuse to believe anything else so there! *stomps foot and pouts*

But seriously now...I'm thinking with basic human biology of the time + modification from his/her time as a soldier of the Alliance + Cerberus upgrades (and counting some of the in-game upgrades you can get from stores if you count those as well) I think if Shep kept active and in good shape...He/She could hit 200 easy and hell, all kinds of other new tech and gene therapy can be discovered in the time being making the life expectancy quite high.

If Shep had the cash and connections (I know mine does) then I could see him/her extending their life to great degrees through various ways. From a roleplaying standpoint I know my Shep will eventually try to get stock in Binary Helix and other such companies and pour some of his tremendous resources into some sort of longevity project at some point heh.

One thing you have to remember though you do not know what will happen to shepherd cybernetics like if they could be hacked/emp by the reapers or even cerberus for revenge.

Barring a heroic sacrifice at the end of ME3, I think Shepard will live a long time - at least 150, maybe even 200.

Shepard is immortal as a character, but I doubt that she'll play a role after ME3.

Maybe a role in the new ME movie "You only live twice"?

Seriously, though, I often wonder if ME3 will have an ultimate sacrifice ending (in addition to other endings), similar to how it's done in DA. But I don't see that happening, for some reason.

Oh man, I would really hate it if they went the ultimate sacrifice route like DA where there really isn't really a happy ending no matter how you cut it.

yeah i would really hate hate it if Shepard ME3 endings only result in death, Bioware you better not be doing this.
or i'am going to do something Evil Image IPB

Speaking of which, I'd love to see some info in ME3 or maybe even ME2 DLC on the tech used to revive Shepard. It's mostly experimental tech and, IIRC, a large portion of it was aquired from the Collectors themselves, so Shepard might as well be a quarter Reaper for all we know. In any case, any data on expected lifespan, physical capabilities, regeneration, even fertility would be cool.
