Does anyone know of the specific codex entries (and locations of them) required to trigger the quest ?

I believe there were two in the deep roads and one from a crazy dwarf in tapsters.

i had some dumb scary bastard giving me a q entry and then ran off.... what kinda quest will it lead too ?

Apparently it's a quest to kill an insanely difficult mob, in an alley, back in Denerim and yields the Keening Blade as a reward.

Picked one up my last on on the Dalish quest line last night.

I didn't ahve trouble killing him aside from the fact that it took forever. It's an easter egg quest of sorts for bg2 fans. You get a nice sword/shield for beating him though.
