**Bump**Bump**
nVidia have said that the fix has been added to the drivers - but the drivers wont be released till mid-July/End July.
I suppose its nice to get a confirmation that the fix is now in place by the company.

last word from nVidia was that the patch would be released mid-July, to End of July, but then again, they said it would be in the June release too.... which it wasnt.
I am auto-updating my nVidia drivers every night, just in case.
At the minute, I am just about able to go into the game, as DM, but I have to unequip all fabric armor, and hoods etc, otherwise I get stuttery fps.

The Update should be out either today, tonight, or tomorrow.
nVidia promissed that the patch would be out by end of month.
That being said.... they did say it would be mid to late june too....

I actually saw that when I was on the bus home from work, I am installing them now to see if it resolves the nwn issue.
They dont specifically mention the nwn issue in the release notes.
Hopfully, it makes the game playable.
I get like 9 fps when 3 players and 10 monsters are fighting eachother, and dont even ask me how to describe what an Isaacs Greater Missile Storm looks like at 9fps.
Imagine Spagettification of a Magic Missile.

Bingo!!!
Playable game
118 fps when a cloak is on screen, kinda drops sporadically when action is happening, but its still above 30fps.

Hey good news!, can anyone of you with 400 series conform if shiny water works fine still?

Ok from my testing with shiny water and like 8 cloaks and bows on the ground and wearing one cloak and holding a bow I got as low as 95 fps with neverwinter FPS command. Shiny water looked fine to me too. There is a noticable drop on the FPS but but seem to level at around 115 and as you add more only goes down a little at a time. I have not tested it with battles going on. I think we should remeber this a beta release and they may improve it even more.

There are times, during battle, where it seems that the game freezes for a second, and then catches up.
But im not sure if its graphical, or perhaps hard-drive related.
But yeah, the 30-110 fps is a huge improvement over the 9-10fps.

So...Nvidia 500 series cards work good with NWN?

Yes, just bought GTX560Ti: <24 FPS with old drivers, 30-250 FPS (70-130 avg.) with new drivers.

I don't know if you guys with the new cards have to post about it in the NVidia Forums thread of the issue, but I'd think it would be good for them to know that the issues have been fixed and some details of effect of those new drivers.
I don't know... maybe?

Hey did anyone else notice a some fps drop from the beta to the latest drivers? It seem to happen to me but that could be just because they made it more stable numbers.
