I've got a some Baldurs Gate 2 saves at chapter 4 in the where Irenicus drops that I recently wanted to continue to playing with (they are also the only saves I have atm) but when I try to load them, they are gone, I then try to import game and find that they funnily enough all appear in the import list. When I do load them from the import screen however, I'm suddenly at chapter 8  and my characters have gained some levels. WTF?

I look at the journal and all chapters from 4 and onwards are blank. What shall I do? :S I like my char and I don't want to rerun the game altogether.

I've got the game patched and I'm using a resolution mod btw.
