So when you as Hawke can have romances do you think your sister will have one (or more) romantic intrests? And how will Hawke react to them? Will he/she be the protective brother/sister? (if you break her heart I'll break your neck).

Or will he/she be jealous? When your playing as Female Hawke and it seems your romantic intrest seems to like Bethany more, what will happen? Will one of them back down or will it result into a cat fight?

Please post your thoughts and opinions here, also if there is already a thread like this, please send a link.

Yeah, it will be fun to see how she will react if you play the over protective older brother or sister. Well not fun, but she will probably get sad and dissaprove. Also what would happen if a party member realy breaks Bethanys heart? Will he get kicked out of the party by Hawke?

Well this could be interesting, I like the idea in general (followers having relationships with each other and so on) this make the party and companions much more alive and interactive, IMO.

I would actually enjoy the RP involved in such a situation.  I won't be surprised (assuming such a thing happens at all) if it's delivered to us, though.  Sort of like:

Varric: "Well, actually not much.  The next thing I can recall happend a year later, at Beth's wedding."

Hawke: He's not good enough for you, little sister.

Etc, etc, etc ad nauseum.

I'd be really pleased if we got to see a relationship between significant party memebers (or even just significant family members, as that's supposed to be one of the "themes" of the game) evolve, but I not holding my breath or anything dramatic like that.

THAT depends on how useful he (or she, I suppose.  Nothing really said yet about Beth's orientation) is.  If I can live without him, I may kick the poor sucker out of the party after I'm done bruising his balls.  Course...she roast his chestnuts over an open fire before I get the chance.  She seems fond of fire.

Well DA is supposed to be the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate and BG had inter-party romances.... yet alot of people didn't like having to choose between their best friend and their love interest.

Shepard should go back in time. Then you can alternatively control both Hawke and Shepard. Then you (as Shepard) can romance Bethany, make her bare your child and then go back to the future.
