I'd find it very interesting if Bethany pursued a romance with the same person that my character secretly loves. Having to fight for your love interest makes the story with them more fun!



If Bethany's LI is someone I don't really care for... I think that my lady Hawke won't react much, unless that person is visibly a jerk.

I can't imagine people's reactions if she hooked up with some skeevy dude.

I would judge potential LIs for Bethany based on a beard comparison between the potential LI and my Hawke. Men with weak beards do not get to woo the women of the Hawke family. Poor suitors who attempt to romance Bethany will hopefully find themselves in a scene similar to the end of the movie Scarface.

If they do this at all (and I'd like them to), a single possible relationship which Hawke can either help or ruin is a lot more likely.

In any case, Hawke forcing another party member into a shotgun wedding with Beth should definitely be in.

Well, that and the option for Hawke to 'bond' with Beth's LI ... and by that I mean beat the stuffing out of them to see if they're up to the task of dealing with the kind of trouble Hawke and Co. get into.

Most of my Hawkes would probably be perfectly fine with Bethany romancing anyone she so desires, though each potential suitor will be getting a special "talk" with them before they'll allow the relationship to continue further. Just so long as the potential suitor understands that their reproductive organs are forfeit should they even bring harm, emotional or otherwise, to their sister, then they have nothing to worry about.

This has crossed my mind a couple of times. It seems like Hawke to make up something about female Hawke and Bethany both liking him, then he tells a tale of epic romance where Cassandra will eventually snap him out of.

But what when he romances both Beth and FemHawke? I''m worrying about this, if you find out that Varric is two-timing, not only will it be a good plot point, it can also result in a lot of dissaproval of Bethany, Varric or both.

I'll be the big sister, so as long as her boyfriend seems like a nice guy I'm cool with her doing whatever she wants (why should your sibling control your relationships anyway? ). However, if her boyfriend seems like a scheming jerk/evil bastard/two-timing cheater, then I'm laying down the law and would probably give the guy a close-up and personal look at my staff-sword and a fireball. EDIT: Actually, I should specify that only if I had concrete PROOF that he was a scheming jerk/evil bastard/two-timing cheater, only then would I intervene (otherwise Bethany can do her own thing as far as I'm concerned).

On a diffrent thread people discuss if Lady Hawke could get pregnant and some devs commented saying 'ten years a long time'.

So do you think Bethany might get pregnant as well?

Oh god, that's creepy.

I completely stopped saying anything about people complaining when Morrigan flirts with Sten after hearing that. That is a case where I would have loved to be able to ask about party banters.
