 I put a cursed scroll inside a chest and the players can't even pick it up.
Is this the way it's supposed to work? How do you acquire cursed items then?

You need to work around the cursed item problem with tag based scripting. That's property isn't done well by default.

Thge cursed flag in properties means it can not be removed from the inventory of whatever object currently has the item, in this case that is the chest who is unable to give it up.



There's another thread going on currently with some ideas about how to deal with doing cursed items.
