I was the one who asked that particular question about seeing female Qunari yesterday.

He said no, but maybe in later games.

Not going to happen in DA2, but perhaps in later games we will get a glimpse.

Existing lore which makes it horrendously difficult for us to catch a glimpse of a Qunari female outside of their native land and especially outside of their predesigned roles in life, perhaps?
Qunari females do not become warriors. As Sten would say, it is just not done. That isn't to say that they aren't capable of such feats, just that their society prevents women from taking up roles that are traditionally reserved for the men.
For those Qunari who choose not to follow traditional society it's possible, but they're pretty much reviled by their brethern.

Let's see, we might see one in further games, which I assume means DA3 (after all, expansions are so obscene for consoles). DA2 comes out in seven months, and it's released approximately eighteen months after DAO.



So we should see our female Qunari in 25 months, assuming DA2 doesn't crash and burn.

Well in all fairness they just showed concept art of them. That didn't mean we would see any in DA2. But like he said if people keep asking we will see on in DA3. Until then i'm still hoping to see some female aliens in ME3.

Given that the Lore states that Dwarves can't be mages and yet we see a Dwarf trying to get to the mages circle I'd say that seeing a female Quinari outside of their homeland isn't impossible, however showing concept art of a race/geneder that isn't in the game is a major tease

I wonder why they would commission female Qunari concept art if they did not plan to include it. Or, rather, I wonder why they would release said commissioned female Qunari art to the public along side concept art for every other race that will be in the game.

They probably initially intended to have it, but then decided against it at the last minute and/or have decided to included them in future DA2 DLC
