Well on the "main" topic I have to say the romances in origins got ridiculous, Morrigan even put on a bra for once to have sex.....yeah. Rather have it be like Mass Effect where they were actually naked but you didn't see anything that would make FOX flip it's ****. Even then games these days get away with a lot, just look at god of war 3, to get past a level you have to have sex with the god of sex while zoomed in on uncensored ******. Now off to cleanse my mind of the mental imagery you've given me of incest.

Yeah mass effect controversy over on FOX probaly still got EA lawyers preventing any nudity beyond broodmothers, which is lame considering sometimes nudity can be tastefully done

I'd be happy with Love scenes that aren't through the underwear, and the exact same for each character. And if your going to call your game a Dark Heroic Fantasy, and have a M rating make use of the damn thing.

I prefer anything that leaves more to the imagination than shows you. DA:O kinda showed too much in my opinion. Bioware's engine does a great job of facial animations and making characters seem more life like through their faces and facial expressions. But as soon as the body starts moving its like a bad puppet covered in playdoh. Same with the hands.

I agree. It was kind of...a contradiction.
The underwear was just plain ridiculous.

Agreed. And is it just me, or are the animations for the Dark Ritual a bit better than some of those love scenes in camp?

I liked the ME1 love scenes--they were appropriate, very much so. I would like for them to be different, and I think this would be true.

All in all, I hate when people start crowing "I want boobs, or don't put sex scenes in!". If you think they're so corny, skip 'em.

I loved ME1 love scenes too. And as I stated before, I don't want a porn video, something like the ME1 would be just fine.

I'm not really into watching a porno, no. I giggled at the sex scenes in origins on how terrible they were, though. I personally skip them, better or not, because I just don't care. I don't really think there should be full blown nudity shown, because that's slightly distasteful, but the underwear should probably go. Not that it was bad, but it was awkward. It was the equivalent of when I was little having those stupid barbies that came with the painted bikini take a bath.

ME1 had butt scemes DA2 needs butt scenes

Lower stomach belly button area needs attemtion also.

I liked ME1's love scenes the best I liked watching Ash crawl to Shepard and Liara's eyes go black to begin the joining.

I like the Love scenes in DA:O minus the underwear. Alistairs was pretty good since they did a really good job or not showing it. Zevran's as well. Cut it properly, make sure the body shapes match the characters IE make damn sure the body doesn't change shape completely once the clothes are off. If you need to show Nudity be tasteful about it. Were all grown up's here. And have them be different based on the character.

I feel the same way.  I use a nudity mod with DAO so it doesn't bother me at all.  Doesn't even come close to being tasteless.  God of War is more crass with the interactive sex scene.
