Females look pretty natural with a nudity mod in DAO, but males look unintentially hilarious.  Probably best if Bioware never ventures down there.

Something like The Witcher (minus the 'sex cards') would be fine. I mean, it's pretty much 'fade to black' anyway. 
Nothing 'interactive'. As long as it's 'tasteful', I guess (ME1 did it fine, IMHO...don't really remember ME2's as I didn't pursue any romances in that game).
Nudity? I don't care.

In love scenes, i want them to be wearing no clothes at all, full naked however, i dont want to be able to actually see anything. Maybe a little side boob, or a bit of side ass, but it turns out better when the romantic love scene is not like a porno.

Romance scenes should be Mass Effect 1 style. Those were tasteful and still showed sideboob and booty! I liked that.

I think on the issue of adult content it should be up to the player as to how much or how little they would like in thier game. I also understand while some folks do not that ALL porn is pixelated. It does not matter if you pop in a VHS, DVD, CD, click a link called www.creaturesoflust.com, if you are viewing it, it is pixelated period and no argument can be made to the contrary. The rational for this is all TVs or computer monitors are nothing more than a pixelated display of various resolutions. Whether it is the 640X480 of a standard TV, the 1080p of a high def plasma, or the native 1920X1080 of the average computer monitor, every one of the common devices is a collection of pixels with the only variation being the size of the pixels. So now that BS is out of the way we can now discuss the real issue of pornography.



In pornography it is the graphic depiction of the dehumanization of another human being for the sexual gratification of the viewer plain and simple. This is someone's son or daughter being dehumanized for various reasons, whether it be to feed thier bellies, or thier habits. There are the rare examples of porn queens who have managed to parley thier activities into big money such as Tera Patrick, or Tracy Lords, but these examples are rare and NOT the norm. As i am a man who can find the beauty in the female form in myriad of shapes and sizes i like pronography, but i have to balance that enjoyment off of the exploitation. Even in that case there is still a modicum of exploitation, even if the job is her choice it still prevents full enjoyment.



Now the difference in a computer game is that first and foremost, there is no exploitation, there is no dehumanization, it could almost be considered guilt free. The sexual content that the player chooses to excercise with thier PC effects no one but the player. The player might feel for thier character but i can assure you with certainty that the warden does not. The only consideration, and it is a big one, is for the individuals who will have to animate the player character who will have to breathe life into the animation for the players enjoyment. But again that is a choice of the individual animator, and the company who pays him.



I do not under any circumstances think that adult content or even nudity should be in in the normal release of the game. If the developers decide to make this as additional content for sale at additional cost in the form of an exclusive DLC i would not be opposed, more to the point i would welcome it.

I'd like the full nudity, as long as it's done tastefully, like ME1. If it can't be done, I'd be perfectly happy with a scene similar to Jade Empire, which I believe is one of the best I've seen.

I have faith that Bioware will do Nudity and sex scenes wisely as they have done in the past. I see no need to scrutinize this well-proven ability that they have.

I'm not particularly for or against nudity, but if they put it in, I hope it's done tastefully.

Although, I do find it kind of pointless to have nudity for the sake of nudity. Yeah, I guess it's more "real" for people not to have sex with their underwear on. But strategic positioning can just achieve the same effect. Whenever I see a movie with nudity in it, it usually doesn't add much value to anything.

To stay on topic, I would like to see full nudity, in both romantic scenes and world events.
But ofcause I want this to be tastefull and logic; the romantic scenes should have the right camera anglers (a nipple here, a bum there) and stay softcore, so seeing the penetration is out of the question. It's not porn.
As for world events, I'm picturing (this is just a lame example) a part where a man is trying to rape a woman in an ally, and when you move by you see that the man has torn the upper part of the woman's dress, which will show you a breast or two.

But like I said, as long as it's done tastefull and logic I'm fine with it, so that means no magic underwear in contradicting  moments.

In my opinion, Heavy Rain has the best sex scene in a game ever. It was something you'd expect from a R rated movie, however, it was very tasteful. Dragon Age 2 should have something similar. Without the QTEs, of course.

I don't really care about nudity at all. I just want the various scenes to not have any immersion-breaking stupidity in them like the ridiculous DAO underwear or the horrible nudity that's usually found in mods.



I agree with everyone who says ME1 did it the best. But tbh, going too far with nudity in these cases is worse than not going far enough, so I can see why BioWare would want to err on the side of caution.

The subject has been brought up many times before actually. A POLL I created a while back shows that the community is overwhelmingly in favor of sex and nudity. With 1200+ responses the margin of error is less that 3%, and since there is no reason to believe that this particular community is any more or less conservative than the gaming public at large, I'd say the question of consumer demand is pretty much settled. Bioware/EA are just being prudish about it for some reason. I wonder if it's the designers or the corporate side.
