Nudity and Scrogging? how much remains Tasteful and how much do you want

Yeah - as I just said, put the nudity in but make it optional, with some kind of password or whatever. This way kiddies will be safe from the sight of bare breasts (but not from the sight of beheadings, torture, etc. - although I suspect this is a minor concern for many parents Posted Image) .

Why should they make it optional? The game is rated 18+, more than both 300 and Sin City, two movies that have more nudity and violence than all Bioware games put together. 


Well, although it is a bit baffling to me, it does seem some fellow players don't like nudity in their games, so I think it would be fair to give them the option to turn it off. It would also work as a preemptive defense against ME-like attacks.

The Mass Effect media outrage was plain silly, exposed the perpetrators for the idiots they are and likely helped sales.

I have no idea how I would deal with it, at least it isn't up to me. ^_^ Goodluck Bioware. I will never understand why parents are so concerned when they allowed the child to play the game, possibly bought it for them.

I wouldn't care, as long as the dialogue is meaningful and the relations between characters are nice I would happily be without love interests at all, no sense in them..

Being a dutchy myself, I found myself arguing a lot about sexuality with people around the net, so I understand your remark.
And I can tell you that it's not that much of wishfull thinking anymore, The Witcher 2 is going in the right direction concerning sexuality in games, keep your eyes out for that one.

I haven't looked at it  but if it's anything like The Witcher 1, I disagree. It was there just for the sake of being there and was extremely tasteless, especially when it mostly went like this: "YOU SAVED MY CAT? GREAT! LET'S HAVE SEX!"

Trust me Dave, They worked SPECIALLY not to do that again. Some kind of nudity will be random, but not related to sex. All sexual situations will be romance-related and connected to the story.

Along as it's not an overload of "Tattybojangles" and "Trouser Snakes".
It has to be some what Romantic, actually shouldn't the sex scene change depending on whom your romancing. Example the sex scenes between the warden and Morrigan. I just didn't think that sex scene matched Morrigans personality, id expect her to be more rough and fiesty than that. Claws and All. Infact I expected my wardens Back to look like a chess board after that encounter.
