Yay,
Another set of questions.
Was there one thing you didn't like about the demo?
Did you like playing male Hawke or female Hawke?
I didn't like that it bluescreened on me.

But seriously...I probably should come up with something so I don't sound like such a fanboy. Maybe I just need to come down from my post-PAX high. I suppose I still wasn't a huge fan of the new darkspawn look, but like I said before, I hardly noticed.
Okay, here's a real thing. The level looked a lot better than the screenshots, but despite appearing open, it was often pretty narrow. At times it was like following a hallway, then it would open up where a big battle would happen, then go back to a narrow hallway feel.
I guess some Origins outdoors levels were like that too, and this one might change, but I did notice it.

That's one of the few direct quotes. David Silverman also made a point of quoting her exactly on that particular word during the presentations. I kinda liked it.
This "dark fantasy" could use a bit of roughening up around the edges.
Huh. Well...hmm...if Cassandra's character is loud and crass, sure, fine, but I imagined her as sort of refined and upper-class from the concept art. I don't know, I don't consider gratuitous swearing as adding anything to a dark fantasy setting.
It also seems to be a rather...American thing to say. I have a hard time imagining a British accent saying that, especially. Hey, I could be wrong. Any Brits want to correct me?
I don't think her accent was English actually, though I couldn't say what it was for sure. It wasn't heavy or thick at all...just some minor inflections I noticed. I guess she's from Nevarra, but I don't know if we know any Nevarrans in Origins to provide a comparison.
Also I wouldn't say she was crass, but she was definitely high-strung, and very intent on getting the truth out of Varric.
