There are only a few fantasy words that I respect, and one of them belonged to an MMO I used to play called Shadowbane.

The game took on the challenge of odd playable races such as Centaurs, Minotaurs, and Aracoix (body of a man, head and wings of a bird), and though I greatly enjoy Dragon Age's realistic world, I also miss such high-fantasy creatures. I don't think they would have much room in DA, I just felt like reminiscing with myself.

The only thing we learned about these elusive Fex is that they were native to Par Vollen. At first he used the past tense, so I assumed they were extinct, but then he switched to present, and I'm pretty sure we're going to see one.



I wonder if they're humanoid, or a little more high fantasy?
