Anything but the inevitable furry crap. How about a race of cyclops'? Why has no one done that? Bioware, make some cyclops people that aren't bumbling idiotic giants. It's a free one, use it.

The Drowned Ones.
Basically, undead which drowned in some cursed swamp but still retain some intelligence and memories of their former lives. They wish to return to their former lives, but their hunger for flesh and madness (not to mention their looks) prevent them from ever being a functioning part of society.
Most have accepted their fate and degenerated into frenzied killers who have settled near bodies of water and hunt in packs.
Some however, chose to withdraw far away from the living by going back underwater and dedicated their lives to deep meditation. Centuries of meditation has caused them to develop a mind's eye which allowed them to see the world and it's history without ever actually setting a foot out of their hiding places.
While very few of of the peaceful Drowned Ones remain and are extremely hard to locate, they are the best place to go if you need info on ancient, lost history. Or true history, instead of what's recorded in the writings.
Oh, look at me go. When I start coming up with something, it's very hard to stop.

Blasto the jelly wrote...
so what new race would would u like to see in DA2.
From D&D? None.
From other sources? None.
So, yeah, NONE.
If they invented another one, like the qunari, well... that's different.
